We have 2 new FREE classes starting in Gorleston this month...

✨ YOGA FOR WELLBEING - an easy going class aimed at helping you to improve your mental health and wellbeing. 2nd Friday of the month, 1:15-2:15pm.

✨ MOVEMENT FOR CHRONIC PAIN - a gentle class, bringing in skills from yoga and mindfulness to help you feel better in your body. 4th Friday of the month, 1:15-2:15pm.

Options available on the mat or in the chair for both classes.

Both these classes are at Shrublands Community Trust and are free to join. These are drop in classes, you can come as and when you like but if you can let me know when you plan on coming that would be useful.

Our website is currently having some work done and these classes aren't up yet so if you want to know more drop me a message on here or email hello@healththroughyoga.co.uk.

Please do help me spread the word and share this with anyone you know who might benefit.

Message from Amy..
To keep it brief I’m looking to start a weekly buggy run group in Lowestoft likely to be at 09:30 starting down the seafront initially, however also open to non buggy runners who want a place to start/return to running as new parents.

Anyone who knows me knows running is my passion through good times and bad it has been my way to help myself physically and mentally! I would love to share this with others and help people get back to running in such a hard stage in life!

Buggy runners would need to have a suitable buggy eg: buggy spec for running by manufacturer, 5 point harness etc.

Please let me know if you or someone you know is interested and help me spread the word, looking to start in September

Cycle To Work Day 2025- August 7th 2025

Cycle to Work Day is the UK’s biggest celebration of everyday cycling. It encourages people of all ages and backgrounds to ditch the car or train and choose their bikes for the daily commute. First launched in 2013 by Cyclescheme, the day has since grown into a major national campaign with thousands of participants across the country.

How to Take Part in Cycle to Work Day
Participation is open to everyone, whether you’re working from home, commuting to an office, or combining your bike ride with public transport. Here’s how to get involved:

Register your ride: Visit the official Cycle to Work Day website to pledge your ride and join the national tally of participants.
Share your journey: Post photos or videos of your commute using the event’s hashtags and encourage colleagues and friends to join in.
Try a new route: Use cycle route planners or apps to find safe, scenic, or efficient routes that suit your commute.
Host a workplace event: Employers can support the day by offering breakfast for riders, running competitions, or promoting internal Cycle to Work schemes.
Test out the Cycle to Work scheme: Explore how to purchase a new bike tax-free through your employer’s salary sacrifice scheme.
Even if you can’t commute to work, taking a short ride during your lunch break or running an errand by bike still counts, every mile helps!
