Slowing things down now I’m a pensioner. Still covering events and SOS bus in Norwich. Also taking immunisation shifts at James Paget Hospital and at Lowestoft. Moved house as well as taking care of my wife. Post surgery. 😂

Haven’t been writing much on this platform lately. This is because not much has changed although I’ve just become an official pensioner. 66 and all that. Age won’t get me down I hope. Still working in Out of hours although I don’t know for how long. Moving home for new beginning’s, after 38 yrs in the same house bringing up 3 kids who now live away . 2 of them over the pond with their own little ones. 5 grandchildren and counting. 😂

Still working in out of hours GP service for Norfolk. IC24. Through agency. Avoiding covid if I can as I’m flying very soon . Some event work on the cards through IKON Ambulance Service. That will make a change.

Still taking shifts in GP out of hours service . This week was Thetford and North Walsham. Other services are busy and pushing people onto out of hours who can’t cope either. It seems however the buck stops there. Last three shifts have been nearly all visiting patients in our rural county. However patients are waiting sometimes over 12 hrs for a clinician to arrive, then seeing referral as other organisation are to busy to attend! Like we can cope 😞 Lack of staff everywhere. Received offers of work all over the place from Peterborough through to Norfolk Primary care . Covid presenting in different ways. :
