We all picked our favourites and residents were super happy!! Jill said “It’s like a taste of childhood” 😍🙌

We have a Mobile Librarian who has tailored residents interests and delivered books to suit! 📚

She will come back every 4 weeks to collect books and bring new ones in, residents were super happy! This has been set up by Sam our incredible Activities Coordinator! 🙌💜

Last week, Walter celebrated his 89th birthday with us here at Eversley Lodge! 💜

Walters key worker Josh very kindly surprised him with some lovely person centred gifts and a yummy chocolate cake. Some of the staff stayed whilst he opened his presents and sang Happy Birthday! 🙌🎂

Walters daughter, granddaughter and great grandchildren then joined Walter for lunch in the afternoon.

Christine enjoyed a jolly down to the Seafront with Activities Coordinator Sam, where they sat looking out at the sea with a lovely cup of coffee! 😍☕

Rosemary, Christine and Margaret enjoyed a game of "Hungry Hippos" over the weekend - Using the sticky tape on the end of the pool noodle they had to collect all their relevant coloured balls! 😅🦛✨

Our lovely residents had a fun filled weekend with our Activities Coordinator, Sam 🙌💜

They played an adaptation of a "Coconut Shy" where residents had to try and knock cups off the table.

They also played another firm favourite which is our adaptation of "Badminton" where residents on opposing teams use pool noodles to hit a balloon backwards and forwards 🤣🎈

Competition winner Maxi Moran, 11, who attended with his proud Dad Matthew, had the chance to put his skills against 1997 World Champion Ken - and coached by 1985 World Champion Dennis Taylor! 🎱✨
