A short article I wrote on the va**ng ticking time bomb:

In recent years, va**ng has become a popular alternative to smoking ci******es. While many people believe that va**ng is a safer alternative, research has shown that it may not be as safe as people think.

20/03/2023

Thinking about the smouldering controversy regarding va**ng and how it’s helping people to quit smoking on the one hand, whilst we are seemingly being blind to the fact that it’s also encouraging school children to become addicted to ni****ne in increasing numbers on the other hand, makes me concerned that our collective health-care ego states are in a very obvious lack of communication!

This is a mindset we see so often in our clients where part of their mind is focussed on the good they are doing to overcome a particular issue, whereas they’re oblivious to another part of their mind that is screaming out that what they are doing is not healthy. One of the reasons I love Ego State Therapy is that it facilitates a communication between these disconnected mind sets, along with other interested parts of a client’s mind, that helps bring an acceptable (and healthy) outcome for all parts involved. Balanced communication and collaboration are the key – a bit like life itself….
