Arganic supplies pure organic argan oil to the food and cosmetic industry. It is one of the most rare oils in the world, coming from the UNESCO protected argan tree that grows only in Morocco. Recently there has been high demand for argan oil in the Western World where it is used in cosmetic products for its anti-aging and restorative properties. Arganic spent over a year researching the sourcing

of argan oil and are the exclusive UK distributors of one of the most reputable producers. Production of argan oil plays a strong social role in the Moroccan community as it provides employment for women and a chance for them to gain independence.

Argan fruit kernels and the seeds they contain. I don’t think it’s easy to appreciate the sheer amount of (hand) work than goes into producing one of the most remarkable oils in the world. The collection of the fruit during harvest once ripe, the drying the peeling, the cracking, the pressing etc. etc. This versus the utter trash that makes up most cosmetic products you see, often being sold for 💰💰💰. Full of credentials that are easy to use, fancy marketing but no real results.

I’m passionate about ‘selling’ the best of nature and in people appreciating both what goes into it and what authentic natural ingredients are up against. Because those running things at the moment don’t care and we are slowly killing off our natural environment and with that ourselves!

Sunday recharge, 😌🙏🏼 it’s so important to keep filling your cup as they say. To top up your energy reserves for anything life may throw at you. Especially if you have a baby 😊 My hair 💆🏻‍♀️ is currently marinating in some argan oil ahead of giving it wash 🧼 while the little lady is napping. It’s the little things!

Hi! I think it’s important to get to know your founder and be able to paint a picture around why a company was set up. Especially in this day and age where your shopping choices (whether you like it or not) profoundly shape the world we live in.

Some facts about me;

I have a maths degree which is linked to my love of problem solving, though my teachers were sure I would go to art school. I had a challenging childhood and one of the ways I channeled my feelings was through painting and drawing, it became an obsession. When I was around 18 a load of my art work was destroyed and I just stopped there and then.

My parents are Iraqi and my dad is a refugee who fled via sea when he was a teenager. Growing up around these types of stories has shaped the person I am and often made me feel isolated from ‘proper’ English people.

I believe in miracles and in giving things a (proper) try even if there is only a slim chance of it working out. I’ve so often given things a go that most wouldn’t dare and it’s paid off on multiple occasions. Where it hasn’t worked out, the journey has been valuable.

I accidentally landed on a reality tv show with Paris Hilton many moons ago!

I  semi-accidentally landed a job at Goldman Sachs after university, it was a very insightful experience,  wasn’t for me though and so I quit after a year. I just could not spend my days pretending to care about the work I was doing when I found it so meaningless. Even if it meant a few years of serious hustle!

I believe that this world isn’t really it.. That  there are more dimensions that we cannot see. It’s just a game but  we need to give it our best shot.

I’m grateful for every opportunity I have and believe in using any privileges I have to do good work.

This past week marks a new chapter for me personally as my daughter Yara has just started nursery. Yep, I’ve needed to keep tissues close by! I have been her full time carer for over a year and dedicated to being a present mum. This naturally has stunted my ability to focus on anything else such as work, I’ve really been in a bubble!

I’m grateful to my reliable team for being so flexible and proactive during this time and grateful as ever to you for your loyalty and continuous support, from taking the time to write such amazing reviews and generally sharing the enthusiasm you have for our special argan oil. It means the world!

I feel like celebrating and so with that please enjoy 20% off all cosmetic products until next Friday. Just use the code THANKYOU20 at checkout.

Otherwise I’m really excited for what is to come for Arganic over the next few months, watch this space! Dana x

About a million people would stop me on the street (slight exaggeration) while Yara was a few weeks old, to tell me to enjoy that bit, the ‘easy’ bit, when they would mostly sleep and that it would just get harder.

So far it’s only getting better. It is hard work, but isn’t that normal? To work hard for things that are worthwhile? Isn’t it possible to enjoy working hard too? I feel as though too many people are afraid of effort 😳. My biggest fear is not hard work, it’s to not really ‘feel’. Give me good, give me bad (it comes hand in hand) as long as I feel alive 🙏🏼♥️
