Our peer-to-peer supportive Community is run by local men, for local men and tonight, we're delighted to have reached more men, with some new members joining us.

Whether you can come along every week, or more intermittently due to childcare or work commitments, it's quality relationship building that Band of Brothers CIC prides ourselves on and we're continuing to ensure each of our groups share this ethos.

We go again at Carshalton Beeches next week, but have lots of other groups locally, so if you'd like to join us, please get in touch. Equally, if you have a man-mate who would benefit from our group, please LIKE, TAG and SHARE our posts with them.

Our peer-to-peer support groups are run by local men, for local men and tonight saw the 'Carshalton Beeches Chapter' reconvene for another sunny evening stroll, enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the local area, once again getting the smiles and miles in.

We're delighted to have reached even more men this week, with attendance growing across our free member's groups. We owe a lot of this to the support we've received from our followers - please continue to tag a man-friend, who might benefit. As always, we go again next week, so if you'd like to get involved, please get in touch.

As a CIC, started by locals, for the locals, we're motivated by Community Interest, having started just 3 months ago, to help men, by reducing the stigma around talking about thoughts and feelings, by providing a safe, no-pressure, non-judgemental peer-to-peer supportive environment. Our mission is to reduce the high rate of male su***de and remove the isolation that surrounds society. 💪🏻

Having successfully reached even more men this week, largely based on public support, we're having lots of conversations within the variety of our free members groups, as well as 'offline' too, to ensure everyone is heard and understood. We're grateful for each and every single one of you, who has LIKED, SHARED and FOLLOWED our journey. Please continue to TAG a man-mate who could benefit from our services. 🫶

We're also working hard 'behind the scenes', on our branding and marketing (launching in July), as well as fundraising, having been invited to pitch to one organisation next week, and another later in 2025. We have a number of exciting collaborations to share over the coming weeks, too and remain thankful to our supportive corporate sponsors, who have helped us get off the ground, so far. 🙏🏻

Another great celebrating our 3 month anniversary of offering support for Men's Mental Health was had tonight at our permenant group - started by locals, for the locals...

Tonight, we walked over an hour at a steady pace and all enjoyed a cold beverage too, chatting and 'checking in' with one another - truly what our Community is really all about! We're delighted to have welcomed another new Gent tonight and to have reached another new Gent while walking, too - growing our group further! 🫶🏻

We go again, next Wednesday in Carshalton Beeches, but also have lots of other events on locally, if you'd like to join us ahead of this. We're immensely grateful for all the support we've received, but by tagging a man-mate that would benefit from our Community, we can reduce male su***de further and support those in need. Please don't forget to LIKE and SHARE our posts, too 🙏🏻

Just 3 months ago, we began our journey as Sutton's very own Grassroots Charity; Band of Brothers CIC is now the go-to peer-to-peer support group in the area, run by local MEN from our own great Borough! 🫶🏻

We've tirelessly built an array of FREE events, reaching lots of local men, ranging from groups, the 'High Miler' chapter, 'Gents Get Gardening', 'Brothers over Breakfast', 'Run Club', 'Gaming Guys' and 'Building Brothers' workshops - there really is something for everyone. We're now also working hard, behind the scenes, to establish ourselves in another London Borough and to develop our Retreat Space 💪🏻

But here's the thing - we need you! Our success is measured by how many men engage within our projects. Aside from the health benefits of getting out into nature, keeping active and enjoying the sunshine and fresh air, you're also likely to make friends with some other great locals, too, all while enjoying conversation and banter 😂

So, your mission is easy, to help us fight ours... Please TAG a man-mate who might benefit from this, so we can reduce the high rate of male su***de. By SHARING and LIKING our page, we can continue to reach more people, including friends, family and colleagues, too! 🗣

Men die by su***de almost 4 times more often than women! Sadly, men are far less likely to ask for help, too! 💔

This isn't weakness, but silence. However, it's also killing men. Check in on your strong friends, especially the men...

Tag a friend that might benefit from being part of a FREE male community. Please also LIKE and SHARE with your friends and family, so we can support more MEN 🫶🏻

We'd like to wish all our members and followers a very . Congratulations on your very first Father’s Day with Band of Brothers CIC.

Our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all the fathers who play roles of mentors, friends, and guides in their children’s lives. You’re a dear dad, and you know it.

Being an awesome dad doesn’t come easy, but we're here and ready to speak with anyone who is struggling over the weekend.

This week also marks 2025, from 9th - 15th June (inclusive). Unpaid carers often provide a life-line for those they care for, but it's important to take a break too, to give your best to both of you.

At Band of Brothers CIC, we've welcomed Dads and Carers into our groups, offering a supportive environment and listening ear. We truly understand how caring responsibilities can leave you feeling overwhelmed, tired, unsupported and even invisible at times. Don't suffer alone!

With a recent study revealing more than 6 million carers in the UK alone, we acknowledge the huge contribution made and are welcoming men experiencing this to attend any of our FREE events!

This week is and what better way to mark it than by changing your habits, in order to better look after your health? Perhaps starting something new is just what you need?

At Band of Brothers CIC, we're standing shoulder-to-shoulder, providing numerous inclusive peer-to-peer support groups across to get more men talking and our established group is back again, getting the smiles and miles in - we meet Wednesday's at Carshalton Beeches Station.
