miiCUBE, the AI-based assistive device which keeps our Seniors safe, healthy and engaged!

The world population is getting older and there are over 4 million elderly people in the UK living alone at home because they cannot afford the rising cost of a care home. Some of these people are vulnerable and the situation will only get worse as the number of over 65 triples by 2050.

Our story is very simple! Our founder worked in the technology and AI sector for nearly 20 years and was involved in quite prominent projects across the UK and oversees. He was busy enjoying the hallmark of his career when his family was suddenly hit by the death of his grandmother who suffered a fall while being alone at home. Help was only available after 12 long hours of excruciating pain and agony. This bitter experience motivated our founder to change career and embark on a new journey that would give him a better sense of purpose, a journey that is bound to change how we care for our elderly. He founded miiCARE with one key purpose, and this is to use technology to make the world a better place for the elderly living independently, those with multi morbidities and chronic conditions and those who cannot afford a care home.

After almost a year and a half of regular consultations with a diverse group of elderly volunteers, miiCUBE was developed. It is an AI based assistive technology developed to promote active ageing and keep our elderly safe, active and engaged with their families and friends. The scores of consultations with the elderly volunteers allowed us to make miiCUBE easy to use and interact with, an attribute which we take great pride in.
