Two spaces have opened up for our summer retreat in the Peak District…

A long weekend of movement, rest and roaming the hills just outside Buxton.

This will be my eighth year hosting at this special venue, but the first time during mid summer - I can't wait to practice outdoors where we can roll around on the grass and stare at the sky ✨️

Spaces & places from the past few weeks… now softly landing into my 40s, in my new home!

Grateful for the connections, support & moments of play woven through such a big life transition.

It feels aligned that these new beginnings are unfolding in Spring ✨

I've purposly been spending less time creating content on here as I process a painful chapter in my personel life. Right now, protecting my peace matters more than showing up online.

A little carousel of poetry, memes and simple quotes to dip my toes back in, I've simply felt too exhauted and contracted to be in a creative place on socials.

As emotionally exhausted as I am, my work (outside of this digital space) is giving me purpose and light.

Connecting with you all in person over the past couple of months has been a gift.

Grateful my summer retreat has sold out without the need to even publish it on this platform, it's as if the universe is saying it's ok to not always be seen on here.

The darkness of winter is slowly thawing, let's see what the first buds of spring bring. I'll emerge from my cocoon in this digital space when the time feels right.

I’m eye-rolling at the surge of rushed “Lunar / Chinese New Year” content online — pushing instant transformation and goal-setting, with confused references to leaping from the Snake straight to the Horse.

A gentle reminder: Lunar New Year actually falls between late January and mid-February, and here in the Northern Hemisphere, nature is still deep in winter.

Seeds are planted in darkness.
Rest is not falling behind.

I’ll be leaning into new beginnings in spring, when my energy (and the land) naturally rises.

You won’t be seeing an annual recap from me this year — I’m tired, and I’m listening to that.

Hello to everyone new (especially after the BBC feature!) — I’m Eirian, a Manchester-based Yoga Therapist blending somatic movement, rhythm + rest to help folk ease stress, sleep better and feel more like themselves again.

🍂 Autumn & the energy of letting go...

Saying you want to let go is one thing. Actually doing it is really damn hard.

There are things we simply can’t control. Situations that ask us to surrender. To feel the rise of uncomfortable rage & unsettling anxiety. To meet the edge of resistance… and then let it MOVE through.

So here’s your reminder: stomp it out, shake it off, pivot perspective… and trust, trust, trust.

And when it all feels like too much? Gather your closest friends, cocoon yourself in blankets & Halloween films, or get witchy on walks through the woods — it is spooky season after all 🎃✨

I’m off on retreat this weekend with my sister at a women’s gathering with bring on singing out our hearts in Kirtan and resting deeply with Yoga Nidra.
