Wow 2016…..a lot happened! It was so good to revisit you! At the time I thought I was holding it all together but reflecting back I was purely trying to stay busy so I don’t breakdown….
My body was giving me the warning signs and I was pushing through until I wanted something that I couldn’t have easily….

be right back, I’m strategising.

I shared these on my stories earlier, but they deserved a place here.
I knew more than a handful of women who were navigating fertility challenges while working in extremely high-pressure environments.
Constant urgency. Long hours. Nervous systems permanently switched on.
One of the reasons I chose to leave is on slide three.
I’m not saying being a business owner is easy because it’s not.
But being back in Canary Wharf today reminded me just how far I’ve come.
I arrived at lunchtime and it honestly felt like a carnival.
The pace, the noise, the rush… my nervous system lit up instantly.
Flashbacks of travelling home like a sardine, holding my breath through the day.
And yet… without that world, I wouldn’t have this one.
And for that, I’m deeply grateful.
Now I get to use my experience of project managing transformation and integration across multi-million-pound portfolios to help founders and business owners build businesses that prioritise sustainability, revenue and freedom.
And I’ll say this with my whole chest - I’m bloody good at it. 💜

Feminine leadership honours both strength and softness.
You don’t have to choose between the two.
Save this when you need a reminder that your pace is perfect.

So many of you have sent me DMs and the loveliest comments on the photo of me holding the steering wheel of the yacht I hired for D’s 40th birthday.
What you see in that picture is a woman holding on to hope.
We were on holiday celebrating his milestone birthday and I remember quietly hoping my period wouldn’t come that month. When we got home, it did and I was devastated. But I didn’t give up. I kept trusting. I kept moving forward.
And the following month… it happened. I fell pregnant.
I was telling a Pilates teacher friend yesterday that I knew instantly because all I wanted was a cheeseburger and chips from McDonald’s!
That picture on the yacht symbolises so much: how deeply I manifested this little one into my life, how certain I was of who she would be and how fiercely I held onto hope.
She is exactly who I knew she would become.
So if you need this today:
Don’t give up on your dreams. Hold the vision. Keep taking the next small step. Even when you can’t see how to keep going 💜

Taking the steering wheel back!
THE END!

Sometimes it’s not about learning more, but actioning what you already know. Can you pause, breathe and integrate before you add anything new?
