Halloween fun today 🧙🦇🦉🎃

Lots of spooky imaginative and creative play today. We also learned all about owls while listening to the Owl Babies story.

Reading and sharing stories is a wonderful opportunity to introduce new vocabulary to children , today our littles learned all about nocturnal animals though stories, sensory play and small world play 🦉🦔📚🦇

As always our older siblings are welcome to come along toPlay and Learn free of charge next week during the school holidays ❤️❤️❤️

Did someone say Halloween Time🧙🦇🎃

Today we explored Halloween and Autumn through imaginative,sensory and creative play 🎨

We also learned lots of new vocabulary through stories, rhymes and making our hedghogs and owls with paints and dough🦔🍂🦉

Sharing stories is a wonderful opportunity to build and extend children’s vocabulary and today through our stories our littles learned all about nocturnal animals and hibernation 🦇🦉

We reminder our older siblings are welcome to come along for free next week during the school holidays ❤️❤️❤️

So excited to welcome everyone back on Wed and Friday after our summer break 👓☀️

I’m having so much fun this morning going through all our wonderful resources for our Autumn block 🍂🦉🦔

Play and Learn is a wonderful opportunity for you to spend 2 hours encouraging and supporting your littles to explore all our amazing child led provocations and diverse range of learning opportunities which will support all areas of your childs development

My 30 years experience in early years, supporting children and families recognize the importance and impact of quality play experiences on early brain development has provided me with a wealth of knowledge which I use to plan and deliver each session to engage and support all our littles 🎨📚❤️🖍️🐿️🎃

Very excited to welcome all our regulars back very soon and some new friends to Play and Learn🎨🧩❤️

October will be full of exploring colours, textures and enjoying so many wonderful new books along with our favourite Owl Babies,Pumpkin Soup and many more stories to help us learn and understand more about hibernation and the changes that take place during Autumn🍂🦉🍁

We will also have our usual Spooky Halloween Party🧙🎃and as you all know we always welcome our older siblings to join the fun during the October School Holiday

Play improves the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being of children and young people. Through play, children learn about the world and themselves. They also learn skills they need for study, work and relationships such as: confidence. 🥰❤️

And just like that summer is over at Play and Learn☀️👓

I would just like to say a special Thank You ❤️❤️❤️ to everyone for making Play and Learn such a wonderful fun caring community

It’s been two years since we first started in Sep 23 and It’s been such a pleasure each week to be a little part of your lives and get to know all of you ❤️❤️

I hope all our regulars who moved on to nursery are settling in well and making new friends. Thank you so much for all your kind gifts and word, your messages about our sessions made me very emotional and really proud of what we have achieved at Play and Learn ❤️❤️

I have to give a big shout out to the team at Auchmountain Centre Annemarie and the team have been so supportive and Kevin and Stuart who clean up after us have been so kind considering the messy play aftermath that we leave behind 🧹🪣🧽

Play and Learn will be closed for four weeks as Kenny and I are going to have a few wee holidays in the sun 👓☀️🥂 We see you all in October for more Fun Laughter and Learning ❤️
