After another enjoyable period providing physio & pitch-side services to , we can confirm that we are stepping back from this role as we embark on an exciting new era at Clyde Injury Clinic 💖 (watch this space 😉) and the club look at alternative cost-saving models in what is a challenging current landscape for many professional clubs. ⚽

The physiotherapy and rehabilitation services provided to the clubs’ 1st team, Women’s team and Academy by our dedicated team (Rish, Waleed, Alanah, Eilidh & Rashi) were delivered to the same elite standards we apply to every single one of you, our patients. Professional, personalised, caring, evidence-based, and always with the welfare of the players at the forefront. 🫱🏼‍🫲🏾

Our time working with Morton has once again been a rewarding experience. We have the utmost respect for the club, its staff, and its players, and we leave with many positive memories from the past season. 😃

Greenock Morton FC rightly holds a special place in our community, and we will continue to cheer them on. Should the need or opportunity arise to work together again down the line, we welcome that conversation wholeheartedly. 🫱🏼‍🫲🏾

🎾 Tennis Elbow That Keeps Coming Back?🎾

The problem might not actually be *the elbow*.

Many people focus only on the painful area — but long-standing or recurring tennis elbow is often linked to poor movement control higher up in the chain.

👉 Weak scapular stability

👉 Poor neck/cervical control

👉 Underlying shoulder injury

...can all increase strain through the forearm and elbow over time.

That's why effective rehab shouldn't just calm pain down temporarily — it should address the *root cause* and improve the way the whole upper body works together.

These are 3 exercises we commonly use to help improve:

✔️ Scapular control

✔️ Cervical stability

✔️ Movement efficiency

✔️ Load tolerance through the arm

Because better movement = less overload at the elbow 💪

This week marked Lauren’s last day in the clinic for the next 3 months, as she heads off to Spain to learn Spanish! ☀️🇪🇸

Many of you will know Lauren from your Friday visits to the clinic, and we just wanted to say a huge thank you for all of her hard work, positivity, and support over the past few years. She’s been such an amazing asset to our team and always brings such a friendly, welcoming energy to the clinic. ❤️

While we’ll definitely miss having her around, we’re all so excited for this new adventure and can’t wait to hear all about it when she’s back. 🌍✈️
