There are a lot of great reasons to exercise at home. Convenience is at the top of the list - and being able to jump straight in to your own shower after your workout is a real bonus.

So how do you make sure that you get up, get going and get that workout done?

Heres some top tips to stay motivated to workout at home:

πŸ”ΈοΈ Set up a schedule with workouts for each day that you want to do. Make yourself adhere to that schedule. No excuses!

πŸ”ΉCreate a dedicated space for your workout. Not only will it create a safer, clutter free space to exercise in; it will help you to get into the right mindset to exercise.

πŸ”ΈοΈ ️Eliminate distractions - Turn off notifications on the device you are streaming your workouts and silence your phone - messages pinging through will just distract you!

πŸ”ΉοΈοΈ Be consistent! One of the very best things that you can do to change your mindset about exercise is to be consistent with it and make it a habit. Because if it’s a habit, you’ll stop having to think about it and will just do it.

πŸ”ΈοΈοΈ Add variety! Remember to switch up your classes. Not only does it keep you improving and progressing towards your goals, but it keeps your training fun, fresh, and exciting!

Most of all prioritise yourself. Regular exercise has many positive physical and emotional benefits. You owe it to yourself to start making exercise a top priority.

I'm really excited to announce that I am now a fully qualified Powerhoop instructor. I have been looking forward to teaching this class for a long time. It is a great class, that gives phenomenal results. It targets all those hard to reach areas, and provides an all over body workout. Particularly working the core muscles, strengthens the back, improves posture and not to mention gives you an amazing abdominal workout, shrinking your waist line with scientifically proven results (from research carried out at Canada's University of Waterloo Spine Biomechanics Laboratory). Powerhoops are weighted hoops and you have an option to add weighted gloves to the workout. You do not need to be able to hoop. No previous experience necessary - just a willingness to come along and have some fun. Classes will commence early 2021! ✨

Can you message me if you are coming to class tomorrow night please?!

Remember this week is community fitness week & as part of this week we have our campaign.

All I am asking you to do is to come to class as normal, but bring with you a non-perishable item as a donation to Inverclyde Foodbank along with Β£2 for class fee! I will accumulate the donations this week and donate them to the Foodbank!

I have posted a picture below of a list of particular items that they Inverclyde Foodbank are currently short of.

If you are a regular in my class or want to try Fight fitness for the very first time, bring along one item of non-perishable food such as jar or tin along with Β£2 for the class (normally Β£3) on Tuesday. I will pass your food donations onto the Inverclyde Foodbank.

FIGHT Combat Fitness is a low impact, high intensity, non-contact combat style fitness class, based on mixed martial arts and self-defence moves, performed to great music. It gives participants a chance to develop self defence awareness, while building up strength, stamina and confidence πŸ€œπŸ½πŸ‘ŠπŸ½πŸ€›πŸ½πŸ˜Š
