Summer Fete Fun at Belleaire! 🎉

What a fantastic day we all had at our Summer Fête — filled with laughter, joy, and wonderful company! Residents, families, friends, and colleagues came together to celebrate in true Belleaire style.

From exciting raffles and a delicious bake sale to lively dancing and entertainment, the atmosphere was buzzing! A huge thank you to Sandra McMeniman as Dolly Dimple and Jack High for keeping everyone smiling and singing along. 🕺

These moments of connection and celebration mean so much to our community — thank you to everyone who helped make it so special.

⚽️💪 Fit-Baw Fun in the Clyde Lounge! 🏆🎉

We kicked off the day with an amazing football fitness session led by the brilliant Paul – and what a morning it was here at Belleaire House Care Home! 🙌

Our residents got moving, had a laugh, and showed off their sporty side in our very own Clyde Lounge. The energy was high and the smiles were even bigger! 😄👏

A huge congratulations to Margaret, who was absolutely thrilled to be crowned Footballer of the Week! 🥇⚽️

Thank you to our fantastic colleagues for supporting such a fun and active morning – we can’t wait for the next session!

Our lovely residents Morag and Anne were all smiles and loving every minute – and we couldn’t agree more! The music, the laughter, and the sunshine made it a truly special day 🌞🎶

🌞 Sunshine, Smiles & a Bit of Friendly Competition! 🌿🎉

At Belleaire House Care Home, if the sun’s out – we’re out! ☀️ Our beautiful garden was buzzing with laughter and energy as residents and colleagues made the most of the lovely weather 🌼

We’re not sure who had more fun… our residents or our colleagues! 😄
Our brilliant maintenance man David, along with care colleagues Steven and Jo, couldn’t resist joining in the fun 🎯

Meanwhile, Norma, Jean, William, and Christine showed off their quick reflexes in our hand speed game – and let’s just say, they definitely gave everyone a run for their money! 🤣👏

It’s days like these that remind us how special our community is 💛

We were absolutely delighted to welcome the children from Glenpark Early Learning Centre to Belleaire House Care Home – and their singing truly stole our hearts! 💕👧👦

Their joyful voices filled our home with warmth and smiles, creating a beautiful moment shared between generations 🧡 Our residents and colleagues couldn’t help but sing along and tap their feet to the tunes!

These visits mean so much to us, and we’re so grateful for the happiness they bring. We can’t wait to see our little friends again soon! 🌟

Our residents and colleagues truly cherish these visits – the joy and connection between generations is something so special 💕 We’re already looking forward to next month’s visit!

Two posts in one day… which can only mean it’s been a very busy couple of months here at Meallmore and across our 27 care homes. Plenty happening, plenty to share - and no signs of slowing down yet!

This one just couldn’t wait...

Last month, our colleagues, residents, families and local communities laced up their trainers for the Meallmore Walks 1,000 Miles Challenge… and absolutely smashed it.

✅ 7,000 miles walked
✅ £7,000 raised
✅ All in just 7 days

Every step, lap, and stroll was in aid of Cancer Research UK, a cause close to so many hearts across our homes. From beach walks to garden circuits and fancy dress laps to sunset strolls, the creativity and enthusiasm were off the scale.

A huge thank you to every person who got involved, whether you clocked one mile or one hundred, donated, or simply cheered from the sidelines.

👧👦 A Special Visit from Glenpark Early Learning Centre 🧡

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the lovely children from Glenpark Early Learning Centre for a fun-filled morning at Belleaire House Care Home! 🌟

Kit, Ronnie, Sophia, Amy, Oliver & Archie – along with the wonderful ladies Pamela, Liz & Carmen – brought so much joy and energy to our home 💫

Together, we enjoyed:
🎨 Arts & crafts
🎲 Fun games
🎶 Singing all our favourite nursery songs (with lots of smiles and toe-tapping!)

The children even stayed for lunch, and we’re thrilled to say they’ll be visiting us every month! 🥰 These special moments mean the world to our residents and colleagues alike.

We’re already counting down the days until our next visit! 💕

🎨✨ A Splash of Seaside Joy at Belleaire! ✨🎨

We had a wonderfully therapeutic afternoon filled with creativity and laughter as our lovely residents enjoyed an arts and crafts session, colouring beautiful beach-themed pictures🏖️🌊🎪

The theme this year is “Down by the Sea”, and the decorations are already looking fabulous thanks to the amazing talents of our residents. Norma was especially impressed by Joyce’s stunning artwork – “I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was!” she said with a smile. 💙🖼️

A huge thank you to our brilliant colleagues for making these moments so special. We can’t wait to share more seaside magic with you all soon! 🐚☀️🦀
