🌟 Part 1: A Festive Day Out at Cardwell Garden Centre

Pamela and Kirsty recently took some of our wonderful residents on a heartwarming trip to Cardwell Garden Centre — and we were delighted to be joined by our little friends from Glenbrae Nursery!

The bus ride was full of fun and laughter, with the children singing Christmas songs and even a few K-Pop Demon Hunter tunes. We all joined in a cheerful game of "I spy" — such a joyful start to the day!

Once we arrived, the excitement continued as we watched the children write and post their letters to Santa . We wandered through the beautiful Christmas displays, admiring all the sparkle and festive spirit. 🎁

🧸 Children in Need – Cosy Vibes & Musical Delights at Kincaid House! 🧸

We celebrated Children in Need in the most relaxing way – with a full day in our pyjamas! Residents and colleagues alike embraced the cosy spirit, sharing smiles and stories in true Kincaid style.

The highlight of the day? A fantastic visit from our new friends Janet and Archie from Jacmacs – a talented husband and wife pop duo hey treated us to a musical journey through the decades, and the room was filled with toe-tapping, singalongs, and pure joy!

Everyone had a brilliant afternoon, and we’re already looking forward to welcoming them back for another unforgettable performance

🌍💖 World Kindness Day at Kincaid Care Home! 💖🌍

Kindness was truly in the air as we celebrated World Kindness Day across our home! 🌟

Residents, family members, and our amazing colleagues were all treated to a little something special. With a trolley full of goodies – cans of juice, crisps, and chocolate – we made our way around each unit, sharing smiles and sweet surprises along the way. 🥰✨

It was a lovely reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference. ❤️

Feel-Good Fitness with Fiona!🎶✨

A burst of energy and smiles filled Arran’s dining room this week as Fiona from Fun Fitness led a fantastic exercise class for our residents

From gentle warm-ups to resistance band routines, yoga ball fun, soothing stretches, and even pom-pom workouts — there was something for everyone to enjoy!

Our lovely colleagues joined in to support and encourage, making it a truly inclusive and uplifting session. 💛

🏆 Kincaid House Shines at the Meallmore Colleague Awards! 🎉

Some of our wonderful colleagues from Kincaid House had the pleasure of attending the Meallmore Colleague Awards at the Dunblane Hilton Hotel — and what an inspiring evening it was! ✨

We were absolutely thrilled to be finalists in six categories this year, a true reflection of the dedication, compassion, and teamwork that defines our home. 💐

🎨🐴 Creative Mojo Visit for Remembrance Sunday 🐴🎨

We were delighted to welcome our good friend Lucy Cook from Creative Mojo to Kincaid House.

Our residents came together to create a beautiful War Horse artwork in honour of Remembrance Sunday - a heartfelt tribute to the people and animals lost in war ❤️🌺

Everyone got involved painting poppies and shapes, which Lucy carefully assembled into a stunning final piece. It’s now proudly on display in our activity room for anyone who’d like to come and see it 🖼️✨

A huge thank you to Lucy and our wonderful colleagues for supporting such meaningful moments of creativity and reflection 💕

⚽ Kincaid House Cheers for Orlagh O'Donnell! 🏆

We were incredibly proud to sponsor Orlagh O'Donnell for the Barcelona Experience this year, where she represented Scotland Girls U16s!

Orlagh, daughter of our brilliant Activity Coordinator Pamela, is a familiar face here at Kincaid — always lending a hand with her football team, Morton Girls, during our annual fun days. ⚽

Our residents and colleagues gathered to watch the matches live on YouTube, and we had a fantastic afternoon cheering on Orlagh and her Scotland teammates. She assisted a few goals and even scored one herself in a victorious match!

Team Scotland played their hearts out and came out as WINNERS! 🏆

Everyone at Team Kincaid sends a massive well done to Orlagh and the entire Scotland squad — we’re so proud of you!

The party was packed with fun activities, including prizes for best dressed and a lively game of pass the pumpkin! 👑

Our talented kitchen team whipped up some delicious cakes for everyone to enjoy, and to thank our guests, we handed out Halloween-themed goodie bags and sweet treats for the children.

It was a joy-filled evening with plenty of smiles and magical moments shared across generations. ✨

Halloween night kicked off with excitement here at Kincaid as we welcomed colleagues with their children, kids from the local community, and families of our residents for an evening of festive fun! 🧙🎉

As the sun sets, we’re getting ready for the next round of Halloween celebrations here at Kincaid — our Halloween party!

We’re thrilled to be welcoming some friendly faces from our local community to join us for Galoshans, a Scottish tradition full of storytelling, costumes, and fun. 🍂
