๐ŸŒง๏ธ With bringing strong winds and heavy rain to parts of the UK, the Met Office has issued a number of Yellow and Amber alerts. This may mean that there could be power cuts or disruption to power and mobile phone signals.

This is an important reminder to sign up to the Priority Services Register Scotland (www.psrscotland.com/) if you are in Scotland or the Priority Services Register (www.thepsr.co.uk/) if you are in parts of England that are likely to be affected (in Northern Ireland you should contact your utility suppliers directly).

Youโ€™re eligible for additional support through the Priority Services Register if you have a chronic illness, meaning in the event of power disruption due to events such as storms, you will be prioritised. We work with utility companies across the UK to support those living with kidney disease, and you can find out more about our partnerships here ๐Ÿ‘‰ https://kidneycareuk.org/get-support/cost-of-living/kidney-care-uk-utility-partnerships-supporting-kidney-patients/

You can also read our Be Prepared guide, which may be particularly useful if you are on home dialysis via our website.
