World Kidney Day – 12th March 2026

Chronic kidney disease isn’t always visible — but it changes lives every single day.

I know first-hand how much of a journey it can be. The highs, the setbacks, the dialysis sessions, the transplants, the waiting, the hoping.

Sharing our stories doesn’t just help others living with kidney disease — it helps educate those who may not know the signs, the risks, or the impact CKD has on families.

If you’re comfortable, I’d love you to share your story here!
Every shared journey builds awareness.
Every story has the power to make a difference.

Even one reader could change multiple lives.

Happy Valentine’s Day to you all from all of us.❤️

Today is also National Organ Donor Day - a day to increase awareness about organ donation.

There are thousands of people who won't be wishing for flowers or chocolates today, just a chance to live their lives.

Together we can help save lives. Will you agree to give your heart (and many other organs) this Valentine’s Day?

Please about your decisions with your loved ones, say and register your decision at NHS Organ Donation

We need your help...

Our Don’t Kid Yourself campaign is back for World Kidney Day 2026 on 12 March. We'll be busting the myths about kidney disease and showing why kidneys matter, and we need you to help us challenge misconceptions, spark conversations and make kidney health impossible to ignore.

The more people get behind the Don’t Kid Yourself campaign, the more people will learn about kidney disease – and the life-changing effects it can have.

To show your support, head to our website, update your social banners and share the posts. Remember to tag and use hashtags
