Mindfulness@MindMosaic

Mindfulness isn’t about escaping life; it’s about fully arriving in it.

As an accredited mindfulness practitioner, Kathryn has published a new blog for MindMosaic, where she explores how mindfulness can help you reconnect with the present moment even during the busiest or most overwhelming times. Your mind will wander, that is what minds do. The practice is simply to return to, again and again, with kindness.

If you’ve ever felt caught up in constant thinking, worry, or pressure, this blog is for you.

The Strength in Sharing and the Cost Behind It

At the heart of everything we do is the power of lived experience and Darren is a shining example of that impact.
Having walked his own journey through trauma and recovery, Darren now uses his voice to support, empower, and inspire others. His work reflects what trauma-informed practice is truly about: understanding, compassion, and creating safe spaces where people feel seen and heard.

Orwell Prize-winning author and BAFTA-winning documentary maker Darren McGarvey brings a powerful multi-media performance exploring trauma, class and our modern culture of oversharing. Blending comedy, spoken word and sharp social commentary, this bold and compassionate show examines how personal pain can become public performance and what that truly costs. Expect insight. Expect honesty. Expect to leave thinking differently. Darren McGarvey: Trauma Industrial Complex Live 🗓️SUN 12 APR | 7:30pm 🎟️ https://ow.ly/g2EG50YsJKI Darren McGarvey

LGBTQ+ Mental Health Awareness 16th - 20th March 2026 🌈🌈

In Inverclyde, our communities are strongest when everyone feels safe, supported and seen.

This week we recognise the importance of mental health in LGBTQ+ communities and the power of acceptance, visibility and solidarity.
If you're struggling, you're not alone, support, conversation, and community can make a difference.
Let’s continue building a community where everyone can stand tall and be proud of who they are.

Mother's Day Honouring every journey of care and hope

Today we honour the many ways love, care, and motherhood show up in the world.

To the mothers raising children. To the expectant mothers waiting to meet their little ones. To those who long to be mothers. To those who have chosen a different path. To those remembering a mother or caregiver they have lost. To the grandmothers, stepmums, aunts, guardians, and mother figures who give love so freely when it was needed.

Mother’s Day can hold joy, reflection, gratitude, and sometimes grief and loss ,often all at once, be kind to yourself today.
Today we see you. Today we honour the care you give and the love that shapes lives in so many ways.

Inspirational Young People in Inverclyde 💫

The team at MindMosaic Counselling and Therapy were delighted to be invited to the Young Carers Awards Night in Inverclyde last night.
What a fabulous evening celebrating the incredible achievements of young carers. It was wonderful to see so many young people proudly accepting their awards, such inspiring moments.

A huge well done to the amazing team at Carers Gateway Inverclyde for organising such a fantastic event. The atmosphere, the fun, and the food made it a truly special night.

We are grateful to have been part of such a meaningful celebration supporting young carers in our community.
