Whether you're a tall man in stature or you simply identify as one, "The Cult" welcomes all brethren through its doors.

"The Cult" is a community-focused fitness service that helps tall men build muscle and improve their mobility without fearing lower back pain, whilst breaking the stigma around men's mental health.

We provide a space for men to open up and talk about their struggles whilst working towards their fitness goals.

No man is an island!

Our FREE 14 day workshops run throughout the year and give you a taste of what working with us online, and being a part of our community is like before making any commitments.

Our workshops are packed with value. There is daily content to consume each with actionable tasks to complete. And even if you decide to not continue working with us online after the workshop (which would be crazy), you'll leave with more knowledge than you joined us with.

If you have any questions, pop them below this post.

Working towards any goal can, at times, feel like a mental game.

This is particularly true when it comes to fitness based goals. On the path to your goal, be it weight loss, muscle gain, getting stronger, it’s all a game of inches.

There will be some days where your sessions suck, you’ll feel tired, you don’t want to do it, but you must push through. As it’s these sessions that build character and transform you into the version of you that you’re working towards becoming.

If you measure your progress how you feel on these days, you’ll feel like you’re going backwards. It’s only when you take a step back and look at your data over weeks and months that you begin to see the big picture.

It’s silly season right now, so enjoy yourself. Know that you’ll likely over indulge and take solace in the fact you have another 12 months to get back on track.

It’s a game of inches after all.

, another tall gentlemen I had the privilege of training back in the London days.

Tim came to me with the goal of building strength and muscle. Having a previous lower back injury, he was cautious to lift heavy weights, particularly with movements like the deadlift.

Over time, we built Tim’s confidence by strengthening the muscles around his lower back, learning proper technique and slowly reintroducing compound lifts to his training.

As a result, a more resilient body and mind… and remarkably aesthetic legs!

Oh, and we also included arm training in his plan, because well, ARMS!!

Protein targets vary when trying to build muscle depending on whether or not an individual is in a calorie deficit, maintenance or surplus.

To keep things simple, if you’re someone who works out regularly, aim to consume 1.8-2g of protein per kilogram of body weight.

Example:
80kg person > 144-160g of protein per day
