5 WAYS TO BOOST COLLAGEN

Collagen is a protein essential for skin elasticity and youthfulness.

As we age, the amount of collagen in the skin decreases, leading to textural concerns, fine lines, wrinkles and skin laxity.

But, there are a few things you can do to maintain and build the collagen levels in your skin.

MICRONEEDLING

This procedure involves puncturing the skin with tiny needles to stimulate collagen and elastin production.

It can help improve skin texture, reduce scars, and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

POLYNUCLEOTIDES

Polynucleotides are the building blocks of DNA.

When they are injected into the skin, they help the skin rejuvenate itself from within, causing it to build collagen.

RETINOIDS

This is a scientifically proven at-home product that can ACTUALLY reverse age your skin.

SKIN PEELS

Chemical peels use acids to exfoliate the skin and promote cell turnover. This can help reduce wrinkles, improve skin tone, and stimulate collagen production.

SKINBOOSTERS

Unlike fillers, which change the shape of your face, hyaluronic acid skinboosters can stimulate the skin to create oodles of collagen and elastin, helping it remain plump and firm.

Neck rejuvenation.
My lovely client was bothered by her deep neck lines.
We used a course of polynucleotides to strengthen and restore skin quality, followed by dermal filler to soften those lines. She was delighted with the results.
What do you think?

Chemical peels are one of the most effective - both in terms of cost and efficacy - treatments you can book in for...

So what are chemical peels?

During a chemical peel, acids are used to create an intentional, controlled injury to a specific skin depth.

The acid breaks the chemical bonds which hold the skin cells together, causing them to peel off.

The aim is to deeply exfoliate the skin, which in turn, stimulates new epidermal growth and collagen production, with more evenly distributed melanin.

The new skin that grows has improved surface texture and appearance.

What are the different types of peels?

There are three broad types of chemical peel:

Superficial peels which remove part of the outer, layer of skin

Medium-depth peels which remove the whole epidermal layer and can reach the upper dermal layers

Deep peels which remove the epidermal, upper dermal and can reach the deep dermal layers of skin.

What can chemical peels do?

They are great to help with a whole heap of skin issues like:

- Uneven skin texture and tone
- Acne and congestion
- Pigmentation and age spots
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Acne scarring

Even if you don’t have a specific skin concern, they’re great to maintain healthy, glowy and fresh skin!
