BLACK HEAD EXTRACTION ⚫

Blackhead extraction is the process of removing blackheads (open comedones) small, dark bumps caused by clogged hair follicles filled with oil (sebum), dead skin cells, and bacteria.

DAO treatment 🙃

The DAO muscle stands for the Depressor Anguli Oris. It’s a triangular muscle that runs from the corners of your mouth down toward the jawline. Its main function is to pull the corners of the mouth downward, which can contribute to a frowning or sad expression.☹️

When antiwrinkle is injected into the DAO muscle it weakens or relaxes the muscle.

This reduces its downward pull on the corners of the mouth.

The result is a lifting effect, where the mouth corners look more neutral or slightly upturned instead of drooping.

This creates a less tired, sad, or angry appearance 😃 & helps balance facial expression, especially if the corners naturally turn down.

PRF is generally considered better than PRP for many reasons:

1. Preparation Process

PRP: Requires anticoagulants and sometimes additives (like bovine thrombin or calcium chloride) to prevent clotting.

PRF: Prepared simply by centrifuging blood without anticoagulants. This makes it 100% autologous and natural, reducing the risk of immune reaction.

2. Growth Factor Release

PRP: Releases a burst of growth factors immediately after injection, but they taper off quickly (within hours).

PRF: Forms a fibrin matrix that traps platelets and leukocytes, allowing slow & sustained release of growth factors for up to 7–14 days.

👉 This prolonged release better supports wound healing and tissue regeneration.

3. Cellular Content

PRP: Mostly platelets and plasma, relatively low in white blood cells.

PRF: Contains platelets plus leukocytes and circulating stem cells, which enhance antimicrobial effects and tissue repair.

4. Fibrin Scaffold

PRP: Liquid form, does not naturally form a strong matrix unless additives are used.

PRF: Naturally forms a fibrin mesh that acts like a scaffold, supporting cell migration and angiogenesis (new blood vessel growth).

👉 This makes PRF especially useful in wound healing & tissue repair.

✅ In summary:
PRF is often considered superior to PRP because it’s simpler, 100% natural, provides a sustained release of growth factors, contains more healing cells, and creates a fibrin scaffold that supports regeneration.
