We're so proud of these wonderful people and the training they've completed with Alzheimer's Society - you're all superstars! 🧠❤⭐

Today our Thrive Social Prescribing Team completed Dementia training with Alzheimer’s Society and are now officially Dementia Friends.
This training has helped us build a better understanding of dementia and how we can continue to enable people living with dementia and their families across North East Lincolnshire (NELC).
A big thank you to Debbie and the Alzheimer’s Society for their support and for delivering such valuable training. We’re committed to making our communities more dementia-friendly 💙

Our mental health crisis services are currently in extremely high demand. If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, it’s important to get the right support as quickly as possible:

- If you are registered with a GP in North East Lincolnshire, our crisis support team is available 24/7 at (01472) 256256 (option 3). You can also call NHS 111.

- If you believe you are in a mental health crisis and in need of immediate help, support is available at Harrison House on Peaks Lane in Grimsby.

- If you’re in immediate physical danger or have a medical emergency, call 999 now.

- You can also text ORANGE to 85258, available 24/7, to start an anonymous SMS conversation. Please note: Shout run and staff this service, not the Navigo crisis team.

- If you need impartial advice on benefits, employment, housing or financial worries, you can speak to Citizens Advice North East Lincolnshire (https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/local/north-east-lincolnshire/) or Connect NEL (https://connectnel.com/).

Safespace will reopen as normal on Sunday 19 April 2026, with drop-ins open between 5.30pm and 11.30pm at Navigo House on Brighowgate.
