𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬: 8 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks)

𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞: Monday, 6th January 2025

As the Downright Special Health Lead, you will support families and professionals in understanding the health and wellbeing needs of children and young people with Down syndrome. You will work directly with parents, carers, health and social care professionals, and the Downright Special team to improve health outcomes and enhance the experience of health care services.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
· Develop strategies, tools, and resources to empower parents and carers.
· Help navigate the health and care system.
· Support the health, wellbeing, and development of children and young people with Down syndrome.
Ideal Candidate:
· Background in a health-related role (e.g., Learning Disability Nurse, Paediatric Nurse, Health Visitor, or other registered Health Professional).
· Passionate about making a lasting difference.
· Enjoys working in a friendly, professional, dedicated, and supportive team.
