๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: Downright Special Health Lead
๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ: 8 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks)

๐ฅ๐๐ฑ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญy: Some flexibility on days/times, but majority of hours must be on a Friday
๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐: Monday, 6th January 2025
As the Downright Special Health Lead, you will support families and professionals in understanding the health and wellbeing needs of children and young people with Down syndrome. You will work directly with parents, carers, health and social care professionals, and the Downright Special team to improve health outcomes and enhance the experience of health care services.
๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ:
ยท Develop strategies, tools, and resources to empower parents and carers.
ยท Help navigate the health and care system.
ยท Support the health, wellbeing, and development of children and young people with Down syndrome.
Ideal Candidate:
ยท Background in a health-related role (e.g., Learning Disability Nurse, Paediatric Nurse, Health Visitor, or other registered Health Professional).
ยท Passionate about making a lasting difference.
ยท Enjoys working in a friendly, professional, dedicated, and supportive team.
