🌟 The lines above my patients upper lip (perioral or smokers lines as they most commonly get called) were bothering her, following a consultation I treated this area with a muscle relaxant, this treatment works by temporarily paralysing the orbicularis oris muscle by placing superficial injections of toxin here to temporarily decrease the muscle’s activity, which helps to smooth out dynamic vertical wrinkles or fine lines that appear around the mouth. A two week review is always included and adjustments made if needed, a review ensures you achieve your desired cosmetic outcome and also provides an opportunity to address any concerns 🌟
