HOW IT WORKS ?
Our cryotherapy pen emits a fine jet of Nitrous Oxide under high pressure, which allows is to work with millimetre precision. This destroys the tissue by freezing the inter-cellular fluid, forming ice shards and crystals which rupture the membrane, therefore destroying the cell. Meaning there will be no collateral damage to healthy tissue.
Cosmetic procedures such as removal of skin tags, milia and cherry angiomas are no longer available on the NHS unfortunately.
The applicator is held as close as possible to the skin imperfection and moved quickly towards and away from it. This could be from 1-30 seconds, depending on the size and depth.
The treated lesion can be red and blister immediately after treatment, This quickly dries up to form a scab, which falls off 4-6 weeks later
