The vacancy in Cleethorpes is now for 6 hours per week. Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 10.30 am to 12.30 pm for a friendly older lady - mostly cleaning, maybe emptying a night time commode. £7.83 per hour paid 4 weekly through payroll. Lady in Cleethorpes is looking for a carer/cleaner for 1.5 hours Saturday and Sunday 10.30 am till 12 noon. No personal care except maybe emptying night time commode. Currently carrying out a costing for a family to see how much it will cost for their elderley mother to come home from respite with carers of their choosing sleeping in every night, and 4 day time care visits. We are currently working with a lady who has been receiving care from a local agency which really isn't working for her. Luckily her social worker is aware of the alternative, a Direct payment, and so she is now going to be able, with our support, to choose herself who cares for her, and when! Please share!

This week we have been to see a lady who receives agency care, but it's not working for her, she wants the flexibility and control of choosing her own carer. She is asking her social worker to swap her service over to Direct Payments, with our support, so that she can do that. We can help you if you are a private funder too, don't risk paying "cash in hand" to a carer when you can be legal, including insurance, contracts, and payroll and with our full, ongoing support, for very little cost!
