​Whether you need a bit of pampering or just a friendly face and a hot coffee, our doors are open. This is a completely free, no-pressure space designed just for you. It is a wonderful way to invest in yourself while helping local students gain brilliant hands-on experience.

Volunteer Opportunity: Part-Time Bid Writer
Are you a wordsmith with a passion for empowering women?
Modern Matriarchs CIC is looking for a dedicated Volunteer Bid Writer to help us secure the funding we need to continue our vital work in North East Lincolnshire.
We are a community-focused organisation committed to supporting and empowering women. As we grow, we need someone who can help us articulate our vision and secure the grants that turn our projects into reality.
The Role
Identify potential grant opportunities and funding streams.
Draft, refine, and submit high-quality funding bids and proposals.
Collaborate with our founder to capture the heart and data of our impact.
Flexible, remote, and part-time (around 2 to 4 hours per week, worked at your own pace).
Who You Are
An excellent writer with a keen eye for detail.
Experienced in bid writing, grant applications, or professional copywriting (though we welcome enthusiastic beginners with strong transferable skills).
Organised, reliable, and passionate about social enterprise and women’s empowerment.

This March, we are proud to support the Reclaim These Streets walk in Cleethorpes.

Safety isn’t just a women’s issue; it’s a community commitment. We invite everyone; men, women, and families; to walk alongside us to show that our streets belong to all of us.
When: Friday 20th March 2026.
Where: Meet outside Cleethorpes Leisure Centre at 6:45pm.
The Route: A 2-mile walk starting at 7pm.

Everyone is welcome to come along and help make a difference. Let’s walk together for a safer North East Lincolnshire
