A night for YOU to unwind and create. 🌙

At Modern Matriarchs CIC, we know how important it is for women to have a space where they can truly relax and be themselves. Our Brickwork & Bloom Night is designed to be exactly that—a creative sanctuary at the heart of Grimsby.

Join us on 12th January at 5:00 PM at The Snug Cafe. For £15, you’ll enjoy an evening of "Brickwork" (LEGO building!) and "Bloom" (building connections). It’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday evening.

Yesterday was the last Cove of 2025, a wonderful time was had with the gorgeous afternoon tea provided by The Snug - Cafe/Bar!

Massive thank you to everyone who has supported us by engaging with plus on social media, talking about us, recommended us and attended our group throughout the year!

Since beginning this in March we have moved to a safer, cleaner and more inclusive space, increased our reach, started evening sessions and supported individuals and families with: family court, child protection reviews, the PIP process, Neurodivergence and the RTC Pathway, mental health support and domestic abuse to name just a few issues.

Next year comes with more evening sessions and creative therapy drop ins with 1:1 support being more readily available thanks to the support of The National Lottery and their The National Lottery Community Fund!!

Big plans are coming with Modern Matriarchs CIC too so make sure you follow both pages to get the right support.

🎄 Last Cosy Sunday Until 2026! FREE Festive Afternoon Tea at The Cove 👑

This Sunday (14th December) is your final chance to step into The Cove, our women-only drop-in, before we take a winter pause until the New Year. We're celebrating with a special Festive Afternoon Tea made by to say a big thank you!

What is The Cove?
It's a welcoming space built entirely around you. No pressure, no judgement—just a comfy spot to take a breath and connect.

💜 This Sunday's Highlights:

Festive Afternoon Tea: Enjoy delicious, pre-ordered seasonal treats on us!

Warm Welcome: Grab a cuppa, a biscuit, and meet our friendly volunteers.

Quiet Corner: Need peace? Sit, read, or crochet. There is absolutely no pressure to talk.

Non-Judgemental Support: Chat in confidence about budgeting, wellbeing, or anything on your mind.

No appointment needed. Just walk in, exactly as you are.

Hey North East Lincolnshire Women! Need a true break?
Sometimes, all you really need is a welcoming space just to be. No pressure, no judgement, just a comfy spot to take a breath, grab a brew, and have a good chat.
That's exactly what The Cove women only drop-in is all about. You decide what you need when you walk through our door, it's built entirely around you.
Warm Welcome: Come on in for a cuppa, a biscuit, and a friendly face. Our volunteers are here to greet you!
Non-Judgemental Support: Want to chat in confidence? We offer general support and signposting on anything from budgeting and wellbeing to family issues, or whatever is weighing on your mind.
Quiet Time: Just need peace? We have materials for you to read, crochet, or simply sit quietly. There is absolutely no pressure to talk or participate.
Safe Community: It’s a place to connect with other women, share experiences, and feel supported by your community.
