Why join our 'Taking the Helm' sessions? It’s more than just a recipe! 🥣✨

1️⃣ Master new skills in a supportive, female-led space.
2️⃣ Meet other incredible women in North East Lincolnshire.
3️⃣ It’s 100% FREE (including all ingredients!).

We meet on 18th May, 25th May, and 1st June from 6pm–8pm at The Snug Cafe.

✨ The Cove After Dark: Connecting with Your Healing Angels ✨

Ladies, join us for a soulful evening dedicated to peace, protection, and inner healing. In the gentle atmosphere of The Snug, we will lead a guided meditation focused on opening the heart chakra to invite in the presence of your healing guardian angels.

This is a women-only safe space designed for you to pause, breathe, and reconnect with your spiritual support system.

🌿 When: Sunday 24th May | 6pm – 8pm

📍 Where: The Snug Cafe and Bar, 2-4 Brighowgate, Grimsby

🎟️ Tickets: £15 (includes refreshments)

Modern Matriarchs CIC is on a mission to build a supportive community hub, but we can't do it alone.

We are actively seeking donations of new or gently used household goods to equip our space. Do you have a fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave, cutlery, plates, kitchen worktops, or cupboard doors that you could donate? These essentials will help us create a welcoming, functional kitchen. We are also in need of practical items like a lockable filing cabinet and sturdy shelving to keep our hub organized.

Additionally, we are always grateful for donations of high-quality clothes and toiletries to directly support our service users.

Get cooking and gain a certification in food hygiene. All you need to do is join our 'Taking the Helm' workshops.

Are you looking to build your confidence and gain a new qualification this spring? Modern Matriarchs is hosting a series of women only cookery classes. Designed to help grow your confidence and also give you something worthwhile at the end.

Over our three sessions, you’ll learn to master three different fish dishes in a supportive, safe environment. Every participant will earn their Level 2 Food Hygiene Certification which is completely free of charge.

From the Kitchen to the Festival of the sea....
Once you've mastered the recipes, you'll have the opportunity to join us at the Festival of the Sea on 20th June, helping to lead our family cookery demonstrations at Alexandra Dock and Riverhead Square.

When: 11th May, 18th May, & 1st June (9:30am – 2:30pm)

Who: Open to all women in our community looking to learn some new skills and also grow confidence in showing these skills.
