🩵 GENTLE YOGA 🩵 Gentle Yoga is back this week and I’m so excited!

Gentle Yoga is perfect for those people who can’t get down on the floor like traditional yoga classes and for those looking to strengthen muscles to help prevent falls.

Gentle Yoga:

✅ Deep breathing to help increase lung capacity and bring more energy to the body

✅ Seated Yoga poses to stretch the body and strengthen the leg muscles

✅ Standing poses with or without the support of a chair to improve balance and strengthen leg muscles

✅ Standing gentle yoga poses to stretch the whole body

✅ Relaxation techniques to help relieve stress and help you feel calm.

To attend either send me an email or turn up on the day. Payment is by cash or bank transfer. You can pay for the whole block to save money.

Sometimes the most powerful reset isn’t a class, a routine, or a plan… it’s a simple walk in nature.

As a yoga teacher, I always remind my students that mindfulness doesn’t start and end on the mat. It’s something we can carry into everyday moments—like feeling the ground beneath your feet, noticing your breath, or listening to the sounds around you.

Research shows that even short periods in nature can reduce stress, improve mood and help regulate the nervous system and honestly, you can feel it.

I spent a wonderful afternoon with my kids and dog just wandering through the woods. We had no time scale to stick to or a location to head towards. We literally got lost in the woods and sat for a while and it was beautiful. I felt so at home and at peace.

This is your reminder to slow down. You don’t need to go far. Just step outside and be present 🤍

Join Hannah & Lorna for a nourishing morning designed to awaken the body, boost energy and restore inner harmony. This special workshop blends the dynamic and the restorative, guiding you through a journey of movement, breath and sound.

We begin with a Yin-Yang Yoga practice to stimulate circulation, awaken energy and support the lymphatic system. Flowing movements will build warmth and vitality before gradually slowing into longer, grounding holds that encourage deep release and balance.

You’ll then be guided through a calming breathwork practice to settle the nervous system and deepen your connection to the body.

Following movement, you will be guided into deep rest through a powerful sound journey. The rich vibrations of the gong work deeply with the nervous system, helping release stagnant energy and creating space for clarity and renewal.

There will be time after for reflection and refreshments.

This experience is designed to help you:

✨ Boost energy and vitality
✨ Support immune health and lymphatic flow
✨ Release tension and restore balance
✨ Deeply relax through sound healing

💚 WELCOME SPRING - YOGA & WREATH MAKING WORKSHOP 💚

Join us for a nourishing morning to welcome the arrival of Spring through movement, rest and creativity.

We’ll begin with a gentle awakening yoga practice with me, designed to ease the body out of winter and invite in fresh, lighter energy. The practice will close with a guided relaxation to help reset the nervous system, leaving you calm, grounded and refreshed.

After yoga, enjoy delicious homemade snacks and comforting warm drinks before settling into a Spring Wreath Making Workshop led by the lovely Julia & Gemma (whom many of you will already know 🤍). Using dried flowers, you’ll create your own beautiful wreath to take home — a handmade way to welcome Spring into your space.

No experience needed — just come as you are and enjoy a slow, nourishing start to the season.

🩵 FROSTY SATURDAY YOGA 🩵 ❄️ Yesterday was a very chilly, snowy morning so I had the cosy vibes going for all the people who braved it out early in the morning to come to class.

The underfloor heating was on, a pot of Dr Sally’s Botanicals ‘Defence Tea’ was on the warmer for everyone to have and I had a ‘Deep Winter Sleep’ essential oil recipe blend on the go.

All that was left was everyone to arrive and defrost themselves on the mat. We focused on warming the body internally through various twists and stretching out our ‘chilly huddle poses’ we probably spend too much time in over winter 🥶❄️.

Hopefully everyone left filling warm and cosy for the rest of their weekend to begin!

This year I want to reach more people with the power of yoga!

❌ Yoga IS NOT about sitting still for an hour, thinking of nothing and humming.

✅ Yoga IS about moving with the breath, listening to how our bodies feel and trying to ease out tension and stress in the body.

❤️ HAPPY NEW YEAR ❤️ I hope you’ve all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. I’ve been very quiet on here as I smashed my phone screen on Christmas Eve which meant I struggled to do anything on my phone without it going mental and pressing all the buttons! I took it as a sign from the universe to switch off for a bit and I actually enjoyed it.

I’m back now using an old phone as I wait for my new phone to arrive.

I’m not one for New Years Resolutions but I have set myself a few things that are “in” for this year. My top priority is looking after my mental health, slowing down and prioritising self care. I’m going to be exploring different self care rituals and seeing what helps me slow down, feel calmer and think clearer.

Im also busy planning lots of classes and workshops for the year so any requests do let me know!

Yoga is back TOMORROW and I can’t wait! Let get back to stretching, breathing and feeling good!

❤️ MERRY CHRISTMAS ❤️

I’ve now taught my last class of 2025 and what a year it’s been. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every person who came to a class or workshop this year (and years before)! Without you all, there would be no LoYoga so thank you for keeping the dream alive. 🤍

I hope you’ve all enjoyed your classes this year and I’ve helped you whether that’s physically or emotionally. My aim is always to offer a space for you to take what you need (no one has taken up my offer to savasana in the corner for an hour yet 😆).

I want to wish you ALL a very peaceful Christmas and a restful new year.

I am already looking forward to our 2026 classes already and to see where our yoga journey’s take us!
