Today marks Beltane in the Northern Hemisphere and Samhain in the Southern Hemisphere. It is a Cross-Quarter Day and Fire Festival, marking the midway point between the equinox and the solstice.

Beltane signals the arrival of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. This energetic festival involves flowers, romance, bonfires, and passion.

Beltane, traditionally celebrated on May 1st, marks the turning point between the Spring Equinox (Ostara) and the Summer Solstice (Litha) on the Pagan Wheel of the Year. Bursting with life and energy, this fire festival honors fertility, passion, and the full blossoming of the earth as it moves into the height of spring. Where Imbolc whispers of awakening, Beltane roars with vitality.

SAMHAIN
At the crossroads of the harvest and winter lies one of the most revered celebrations in Pagan and Wiccan traditions: Samhain. This ancient holiday signifies the end of the fruitful season and the onset of the darker half of the year. It’s believed that during this time, the veil between the living and the spirit world is at its most fragile, inviting moments of deep reflection, ancestor veneration, and spiritual connection.
