Hampshire and Isle of Wight volunteers have been busy bees over the past few weeks for Restart a Heart Day!

Last week Hawley Lane Badgers and Cadets showed friends and family some essential first aid skills such as bandaging, slings and CPR

Throughout the month of October University of Southampton First Aid Society and SJA University of Southampton have been participating in the SJA Student Volunteering ‘CPRathon’ on Highfield campus competing against other universities across the country and raising vital funds for St John Ambulance!

Our Southampton night time economy team is all set up in the city centre ready for freshers weekend.
This weekend they are also trying out the brand new E-PRF system, announcing the start of the roll out for Hampshire.

Tonight our volunteers have been providing pop up night time economy treatment centres in Guildford and Southampton

We will be operating our Night Time Economy pop-up treatment centre in Guildford this weekend (22nd and 23rd) for the start of the University freshers in partnership with Surrey Heartlands Health and Care Partnership

The treatment centre will be located on North Street next to the Friary Centre (Opposite McDonald's), can be pinpointed with the What 3 Words location ///Later.Safe.Tides.

Whether you need assistance or are concerned about someone's well-being, our team is here to help. Skilled first aiders and healthcare professionals will be on hand to offer first aid, guidance and support.

We are so pleased to be welcoming three new hospital care volunteers to Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust today for their trial shifts.

We are looking to increase our hospital volunteering across the region ahead of winter.
