2016 - 2026 āØ
What a year 2016 was! The start of my Saturn return, ready to completely blow up my life in my face to put me on the right path.
Me & my ex fiancĆ© split up. A relationship that should have never even got to that point anyway & absolutely sucked the life out of me energetically š Totally lost myself over those years & was completely miserable. Didnāt see family & friends or do anything, you know the type? We all have that bad one in our twenties Iām sureā¦
Same year I made a solid group of friends in Guildford through my friend Sophie & met Kul. He completely brought me back to myself ā„ļø
I wonāt say the beginning wasnāt messy because it absolutely was! Transitioning from a bad relationship that made me feel worthless to ours. We very nearly didnāt make it & I was considering moving back home to the Lakes. When this song plays it reminds us both of that time of uncertainty. I was like a yo-yo.
But of course we also had so much FUN. I felt free, I felt like me again, I started going back to festivals, gigs, travelling, going out with friends & seeing family, lots of yoga practice & nature time! Everyone was so supportive š«¶
Also saw Adele live on my birthday & she was absolutely epic š
So to sum up that year, even though it was awful at the time, it was also the best thing thatās ever happened to me ā„ļø
Here we are, still together 10 years later with our beautiful home, great careers, 4 cats & so many amazing memories together. We are very lucky.
Thank you Saturn you karmic badass for showing me my true path & of course for moving into that house share! š ###
