So excited to announce this series of three workshops with Denise Marlow - each works as a standalone workshop, priced £40, or sign up for all three and SAVE £20.
Each workshop is a mix of holds in Yin yoga poses encouraging deep tissue release, combined with the use of massage balls, foam rollers, soft balls and other props to get deep into knots and restrictions in the body. We use breathwork to help the body let go and each workshop will finish with guided relaxation.
The warmth in the room is to help your body and muscles relax, as we use the holds and deep tissue work to decompress, lengthen and release. This work really helps us to relax, get rid of holding patterns and tightness in the body, helping us to feel lighter and more mobile.
You will also understand how to incorporate these techniques into your own self-care routine post workout/injury and learn more about fascia: our organ of structure, an internal web of communication which connects every muscle, organ, cell and when worked on helps us feel better.
Workshop 1 | Sat 28 Feb | 11:00-12:30:
The focus will be on the lower body including feet, legs and glutes.
Workshop 2 | Sat 14 March | 11:00-12:30
Shifting our focus to the pelvis and the spine as well as releasing the mid-chest and abdominals.
Workshop 3 | Sat 28 March | 11:00-12:30
In our final session we work into the upper body, in particular the upper back, shoulders, arms, neck, head.
