Pilgrim Wood Residential Home Pilgrim Wood is an elegant, 1920s country house situated in three acres of grounds, providing long term residential and dementia care for people aged 65+.

As well as providing long term care, we also provide respite care to enable loved ones to take a well deserved break, convalescent care when recovering from an accident, illness or operation. Our elevated position provides remarkable views of the surrounding countryside, yet we are conveniently located only two miles from the centre of Guildford. All rooms are light and airy, enjoying delightful v

iews of the countryside and gardens. They are comfortably furnished and have en-suite facilities. Residents are encouraged to bring personal effects. As a family run establishment our philosophy of care has been developed through years of experience. Our directors and staff provide the very best individual facilities, service and care by recognising everyone’s wish for privacy, independence, security and freedom of choice in a dignified way.

What a lovely day we had yesterday when 6 residents went on a surprise mission to Secretts garden centre to find a rose that we could give our lovely Wendy and Gary as a gift to celebrate their recent engagement. We also couldn’t resist buying a couple of plants for our garden too. This was followed by a surprise party. We wish you both a very happy future together!
