👚 Celebrating Christmas Jumper Day

👋 Meet Our Team – Dan Loder, Lead Physiotherapist

This week’s spotlight is on Dan, who joined Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital in 2025 as a Lead Physiotherapist, having previously worked at Nuffield Health Woking Hospital. Dan specialises in knee and shoulder injuries, athletic populations, and sports‑specific rehabilitation programmes.

Dan began his career studying Sports Rehabilitation (BSc) at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, gaining hands‑on experience in both sports and hospital settings across Surrey and London. He went on to complete an MSc in Physiotherapy at the same university, refining his skills in injury treatment, rehabilitation, and patient care.

He has worked extensively with elite athletes across a range of sports, serving as Lead Therapist for Surrey Storm Netball U20s and Guildford Flames Ice Hockey, and as a core member of the Harlequins Rugby medical team for eight seasons — including their historic Premiership title‑winning campaign.

🗣 "Shoulder Impingement" with Mr Anthony Hearnden, Orthopaedic Hand, Wrist, Shoulder & Elbow Surgeon

Last week, our Orthopaedic Hand, Wrist, Shoulder & Elbow Surgeon, Mr Anthony Hearnden kindly delivered a CPD talk on Shoulder Impingement to our friends at Synergy Physiotherapy, Woking.

This event provided physiotherapists with an engaging and informative session, while also giving Mr Hearnden the opportunity to showcase his practice. Attendees enjoyed lunch kindly hosted by Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital.
