I'm really excited to announce that having completed my Level 3 PT course earlier this year, I have joined the coaching team at πͺπ».
Many of you will know that I've been a member at Patch for quite some time, one of the first members in fact, when it was just a box room in the rugby club 4 years ago!! Since then George has done some amazing things, building a reputation, a team and an ever-growing community that all naturally complement each other. I've loved being part of that growth as a member and I still intend to regularly train with many of the friends I've made at Patch.
Given my background in Osteopathy and Injury Rehabilitation, I'm always looking for ways to increase my knowledge in the field. Over the (many) years since I qualified (17!!) I've completed small courses here and there, attended conferences and seminars and picked the brains of like-minded people, but when the opportunity came up to complete an additional qualification in something that is linked to my work but also quite separate, I was a little intimidated at first. After all, you could write my entire CV on a post-it note and still have room for a shopping list!!
But, the idea of becoming a Personal Trainer really appealed to me, inspired mostly by the coaches at Patch. I knew there was a way that I'd be able to incorporate my knowledge of body mechanics and injuries into becoming a PT and hoped that this would allow me to offer a specialised view on training that benefits both clients in the clinic and members of the gym.
I can't wait to get going at Patch, members will see me quite regularly in the gym so please say hi if we've not met already!!
The Clinic will be mostly unaffected by these changes, I will still be offering the same number of appointments each week, just with slightly altered hours - when schedules are sorted I will update my website and post any diary changes here too!!
Hopefully this marks an exciting, new(ish) chapter of Core Osteo!! Thank you all for your continued support of my business, I hope I can continue to keep my patients happy and injury/pain free whilst also adding my personal touch to the team at Patch ππ»
