It was an honour to be Faculty on the BOFAS Principals Course held in Dubai. I want to thank Moez Balall and Ehab Kheir for organising such a brilliant course. All of the faculty contributed hugely and as always I came away from the BOFAS course feeling that I had learned as much (or more) than I had taught. It was such an opportunity to mentor and encourage a group of surgeons interested in foot and ankle and to get to know a brilliant faculty(Les Cannon, Mark Davies, Roger Haene,Luck Jeyaseelan, Maan Taba, Krishna Vemulapalli). The University of Sharjah has a state of the art cadaver lab for teaching. Thank you also to BOFAS's dedicated Jo Millard for everything she does to make our courses the best they can be. It was such a wonderful experience to see Dubai through the eyes of people who live and work there. I can't thank everyone enough.
