It was truly a privilege to look after Mary and be there for a family known to our owner Michelle for a long time ❤️

Today, I helped a lovely family say farewell to Mary, a loving mam, grandma, great grandma, sister, auntie and loyal friend.

Her daughter read some beautiful and much-loved memories and stories of her mam, and I as their Celebrant read the rest of Mary's life story.

Her family chose three pieces of beautiful music and a very comforting piece of poetry:

Letter From Heaven

When tomorrow starts without me
And I’m not here to see
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
Filled with tears for me.

I wish so much you wouldn’t cry
The way you did today
While thinking of the many things
We didn’t get to say.

I know how much you love me
As much as I love you
And each time you think of me
I know you miss me too.

When tomorrow starts without me
Don’t think were far apart
For every time you think of me
I’m right there in your heart.

Rest in peace Mary.
