When people think of grief, it often refers to the death of someone we loved… true.

Here is a reminder that we can also grieve the loss of a home, breakdown in relationship, friendship, family, pet, career… anything that had significant meaning to our life.

Christmas is a difficult time for many as it brings loss into our awareness and brings to the surface things we have somehow managed to ‘push down’ or manage’ the majority of the time… Christmas has the amazing ability to shine a light on losses we have suffered…

Always be kind and mindful 😉 especially this time of year

An ‘exploding’ feelings volcano 🌋


Because feelings can build and build until they ‘explode’ 🔥🔥🔥

Another fun way to help children talk about their feelings and understand why they sometimes ‘explode’ or ‘meltdown’ 😤😭

We can talk about ways to manage emotions in helpful ways to stop them from building up!

Talking about feelings in the safety of the therapy room is a great starting point 😉
