St Martins Care is proud to support the next cohort of North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust apprenticeship paramedics on placement across our six care homes!

This initiative has ensured every trainee paramedic within the NEAS apprenticeship programme spends meaningful time in a social care setting, gaining valuable experience and building a deeper understanding of our sector.

🎄 Christmas Appeal for Veterans 2025 🎄

As we come to the end of another year, we’re asking for your support in helping us bring some Christmas cheer to those who have served our country.

Guisborough Manor Care Home would love to help Healthier Heroes CIC Christmas Appeal, they support a number of Veterans through housing projects, we’d love to support them to give each Veteran a special Christmas Box.

These boxes mean so much to those who receive them a small reminder that they’re appreciated, remembered, and valued.

We’re asking for your kind donations to help us make this possible. If you’re able to contribute any of the following items — or anything else you think would make a thoughtful gift — we’d be deeply grateful:

Flower Arranging

The residents and team of Guisborough Manor spent the afternoon making beautiful flower arrangements, reminiscing about their gardens and favourite flowers.

Once they had finished their arrangements they displayed them around the home, they look beautiful. 💐🍁

Alishia & Heidi dressed as witches for Halloween and surprised the team at Guisborough Manor with a fire drill!

Laura joined St Martins Care in 2019 with no previous experience in care, but with dedication, passion, and the support of her team, she’s achieved two promotions and a new qualification!

Today, as Quality Lead, Laura plays a key role in supporting staff and helping us deliver the very best care for our residents.

Her journey shows that with the right mindset and support, a career in care can be truly rewarding.
