Who Doesn't Like a Pamper Session?

Everyone enjoys a little pamper, especially having their nails filed and painted!

Ladies of Guisborough Manor enjoyed their time relaxing and having their nails, cleaned, filed and painted with a choice of colours.

Pauline decided to take a chance on the wild side and opted for bright red nails.

Val commented it was the first time since 1984 she had had her nails painted.

Christine declined having her photograph taken stating she wasn't photo worthy which all strongly disagreed!

You all look beautiful ladies! 🥰🍁

Good Luck Charlotte

Care Assistant Charlotte is leaving Guisborough Manor Care Home to embark on her Army nursing career.

Charlotte joined Guisborough Manor in September 2024 as a Care Assistant with big ambitions to become a Nurse. In this time Charlotte has flourished and become part of the Guisborough Manor family.

Almost 1 year on Charlotte is spreading her wings and joined the Army.

We all hope you achieve your dream, see the world and stay safe.

Guisborough Manor residents love a good old fashioned sing along to their favourite tunes.

Howard is a favourite at Guisborough Manor, he has a great range of music, sings live accompanying himself on the guitar, the residents think he is great and always give him a good turnout.

Nuvo provide innovative, fun, and exciting programs of seated chair based exercises and dance classes to our wonderful residents at Guisborough Manor Care Home.

Residents enjoyed singing and dancing whilst exercising during their Nuvo session. 🍁

Research suggests that music in its various forms can improve both a person’s physical health and mental wellbeing, and for older adults it can play an important role in helping tackle a range of age-related problems such as depression, isolation, stress, chronic pain and even memory impairment.

The staff and residents of Guisborough Manor Care Home enjoyed an afternoon of impromptu singing and dancing. 💃🏽 🎶🍁

Alma who resides at Guisborough Manor Care Home had a special visit from some friends.

Thomas who is currently studying music in Edinburgh, has played personal concerts using his violin for Alma since he was a young child.

Whilst visiting Alma, Thomas offered to play a concert for the residents of Guisborough Manor Care Home, with Alma as Master of Ceremonies’.

Thomas shared the sounds from National composers from around the world including Japanese composers on his violin.

Our ladies and gentlemen thoroughly enjoyed the surprise concert! 🎶 🎻 🍁
