We are the only specialist dementia nurse led community service in the local area.
We deliver specialist high quality evidence based care and support to people living with dementia, memory problems, MS, Parkinson’s, related conditions and older adults.
We have a vacancy for 16 - 20 hours per week to work in the community covering our At Home Services (social and domestic support - no personal care or medication)
We are looking for someone who has the following:
⭐️Significant experience of working in health and social care
⭐️Significant knowledge, skills and experience of supporting people who are living with dementia, memory problems, related conditions and mental health
⭐️NVQ level 3 in health and social care or equivalent
⭐️Knowledge of infection control and care based mandatory training
⭐️Fun, kind, quirky, calm, creative, patient person who has genuine passion for making a difference to people’s lives
⭐️Car driver and use of own vehicle essential.
⭐️Good general level of fitness for facilitating physical activities and games
⭐️Like dogs
⭐️Basic cooking skills
⭐️Cleaning and domestic skills
