I often say that folk only recall the ‘version’ of you that exists through their lens. The truth is, very few people know the full story, they haven’t lived your life or dealt with the stuff that you have dealt with.

Equally true to say that when you draw your boundaries and protect yourself against folk who are disingenuous they often react badly. This is a good sign!

When people say ‘you’ve changed’ and they mean that in a negative sense it often means you’ve grown . Live your life your way. 💜

Hypnotherapy is a great tool to learn how to step into your own power.

Interesting observations : many clients often tell me they feel a bit weird about ‘doing therapy’ . Also of note, they are the stronger folk for wanting to make changes for themselves…but often feel they should explain why! No. You do not need to explain anything about your personal decisions …to anyone.

In situations where my clients have experienced narcissism from others in their families or relationships, clients often feel devalued or mocked when they mention therapy.

Honestly, my advice is: don’t tell a person who does narcissistic behaviours towards you a damn thing about your therapy work. Just invest in yourself and move on when you’re ready.

I’m celebrating 12 Years in my therapy business this month!

If you’d told me 12 years ago (when I left my full time teaching job) that I’d be a business owner of not one but three businesses , I wouldn’t have believed it.

Hypnotherapy & NLP taught me so much about myself and how to work with my strengths. Knowing what I know now, and helping over 1000 clients make real life changes , I can testify that coaching work is truly powerful! The right mindset is a massive factor in taking action, even when we feel scared! Just the smallest action can be a catalyst for change.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

*You are allowed to change at any time! *Be mindful how you speak to yourself because only ‘you’ are listening!
*Thoughts are like tea bags…they only work if you put hot water on them.
*Who said change has to take a long time?
*We can’t always control what happens to us but we can control how we react.

More importantly….don’t look back…. you’re not going that way ! Julie 💜

This month I’ve been working with clients on different issues: stress, anxiety, fear of ‘what if?’ and trauma .

Everyone is different and every set of symptoms is very different. I’ve been working therapeutically for nearly 12 years now and it continues to be a privilege and an honour to serve my clients, working with them to help them move beyond their fears and recognise their true inner strengths.

I’m currently busy creating new workshops and setting up dates for new Mindfulness & Meditation sessions.
