Guisborough and East Cleveland Sea Cadets This is the official Guisborough and East Cleveland Sea Cadets Page. Cadets have the opportunity to take part in a variety of water and land activites.

Junior Cadets 10—12
When you join you’ll take part in lots of great events and exciting activities like sailing, canoeing and abseiling. We guarantee you’ll have lots of fun and make friends. You’ll also get to learn about really useful things like first aid and communications! Sea Cadets 12—18
From rock climbing to kayaking, there are so many challenging and exciting opportunities waiting for you

. Sea Cadets meet once or twice a week and during the summer when all the sailing and boating activity gets started, your unit will be out on the water most weekends too. Take part in all kinds of competitions from music, power boating and sailing, to football and Drill, plus learn nautical skills as you complete your training. Not only will it be fun, but your new skills will definitely give you a head start in life and boost your confidence – weekends will never be the same again!

Hey 10&11 year olds!

We are recruiting Junior Sea Cadets and we’d love for you to join 🏊🏻

Juniors is a fun section preparing you for the senior section but with all the perks. Go boating in the summer, organise a chip shop survey, learn to tie knots, bake gingerbread men, win gold in our competitions all over the UK and learn drill! The possibilities are endless 🧁🛶🏏🤿

Our juniors parade every Thursday 7-9pm, we ask for a monthly donation and uniform is free.

Hi Everyone!

Message for the parents ! Many of you will have been told that our fantastic cadets have agreed to run an engagement stall this weekend at Skelton fair ! The closest postcode for this event TS12 2LR! Look out for the fair signs 😀 the cadets have prepared their own recruitment tools and are super keen to engage with the community ! It’s going to be a fun weekend with Cpt. Hart leading the event for the cadets.

Cadets have been fully briefed on what’s expected of them and each cadet has agreed for themselves which days and what times they can commit to supporting so a big thank you to them for making team Guisborough !
