Physiotherapy is for everyone — not just athletes or those recovering from surgery.
This past week, I’ve worked with a diverse group of clients, each presenting with unique musculoskeletal challenges:
A 15-year-old academy footballer presenting with femoroacetabular impingement and signs of repetitive strain. Focused intervention to improve biomechanics and offload the hip joint is underway.
A female client experiencing acute-on-chronic lumbar pain with femoral nerve irritation, unresponsive to soft tissue techniques. A tailored rehabilitation approach is being implemented to address neural mobility and lumbopelvic control.
A manual worker presenting with a lateral shift and rotated pelvis, resulting in functional scoliosis and persistent mechanical back pain. We’re working on spinal alignment, core activation, and load management strategies.
A recreational runner with chondromalacia patella, aiming to return to pain-free running. We’re progressing through a structured rehab plan focusing on patellofemoral joint loading, gait retraining, and strengthening of the kinetic chain.
A client returning to exercise after a period of inactivity, now dealing with hip pain. We’re progressing through graded strengthening and motor control exercises to support her goals of building a sustainable, healthy lifestyle.
Physiotherapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Whether you’re dealing with sports injuries, work-related dysfunction, or looking to optimise your physical health, physiotherapy can provide targeted, evidence-based treatment to help you move better, function better, and feel better.
