Lammermuir, Orchard and Tyne practices will be closed for the Public Holiday on Monday 15th September. We will close at 6pm on Friday 12th September and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday 16th September.

If you need urgent medical attention during this period please contact NHS24 on 111. In a life threatening emergency please call 999.

Right Medicine Pharmacy is open 9am - 5.30pm on Monday 15th September.

Your local pharmacist or a trained member of the pharmacy team can give you advice on a range of minor illnesses and provide medicine if needed. NEW DIRECT ACCESS TO MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES IN EAST LOTHIAN

If you, or someone you care about, over the age of 18, is looking for support regarding your/their mental health, you can now GO DIRECT and self-refer into East Lothian Mental Health Services and talk to trained professionals for information and advice.

CALL: 0300 790 6292 Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm.

After providing initial contact details you will be offered a *SAME DAY / NEXT DAY* call back from an experienced Mental Health Clinician who, following an initial assessment, will provide advice or a referral to the most relevant service.

If you feel you need urgent help with your mental health, please contact your GP, or if out of hours, NHS 24 on 111.

NHS Lothian are sending hospital letters electronically by text.

What happens when you receive the text?
You will receive a text message to your mobile phone with an invitation to view your letter – it will come from ‘NHS Lothian ‘ and say ‘This is an important digital letter from NHS Lothian with information about your care.
Please log in to the following link with PIN ###x and your Date of Birth on your smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC.

When you enter the Patient Portal, put in your date of birth and unique four-digit PIN from the text message.
This will take you to your letter.
You can download the letter and/or add the appointment/admission to your own calendar.

It’s quick, easy, safe and secure and should the digital letter not be opened within 48 hours the system will automatically print and post a copy out to your address.

Wednesday 5th March 1pm-6pm

The practice will be closed from 1pm - 6pm on Wednesday 5th March to allow protected learning time for the practice team. The practice will reopen at 8am on Thursday 6th March.

If you have an urgent medical problem during 1pm and 6pm on Wednesday 5th that can’t wait until we reopen on Thursday please call 07395 947 941 for information on how to access urgent care.

The usual out of hours arrangements will be in place between 6pm on Wednesday and 8am on Thursday. You can contact NHS24 by calling 111.
