When you visit the practice, you may receive an SMS shortly after your appointment asking about your experience. This is the national NHS Friends and Family questionnaire.

We are incredibly grateful for all the responses we receive. A selection of your comments is displayed in our waiting room and shared here on our page. Your feedback helps us celebrate what we’re doing well and guides us on where we can improve.

On occasion, we do receive comments that show a patient wasn’t as satisfied as we would have hoped. As a reminder, the Friends and Family feedback is anonymous, so we are unable to address personal issues or specific concerns through that survey.

If you are unhappy with any part of the service you received, please contact the practice directly. This gives us the opportunity to look into the matter, understand what happened, and see whether anything can be improved or discussed further.

🌟 Did You Know? 🌟

Many patients see their doctor as the embodiment of the NHS and all that it provides – free care at the point of delivery. However not all work doctors are asked to do is paid for by the NHS. This is known as unfunded work. This includes requests for information in the form of a report, letter or certificate. This work takes time and is not always straightforward or simple to complete.

👇This latest poster from Derby & Derbyshire Local Medical Council explains why General Practice is under so much pressure, and why GPs often have to say no to requests that fall outside of funded responsibilities.

At Lambgates, we strive to fulfill many of the unfunded requests we receive. Since these tasks fall outside standard NHS services, we may apply a fee in line with British Medical Association guidance. However, our primary focus will always remain on core general practice work and delivering patient care.

We are currently experiencing intermittent heating and hot water while our boilers are being replaced.

Engineers are working hard to complete the installation as quickly as possible, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
