Last month I sat at my kitchen table at 10pm after a full day at work and a full evening of coaching sessions and thought, "Is this even worth it?"

Running a studio while working full time is not for the faint-hearted.

But then I opened the group chat and saw three messages from members.

One had just done her first unassisted press-up.
One had dropped a dress size.
One just said, "Best I've felt in years."

And that was it. That was the answer.

It's worth it because of the women who show up. The ones who walk in nervous and walk out feeling like themselves again.

I tell you this because I think a lot of women reading this feel the same way about their own fitness. "Is it even worth trying again? Will this be different?"

Yes. And yes.

Small steps count. And the women who take them end up in places they didn't think were possible.

One of our members said something after her session on Tuesday that I havenโ€™t stopped thinking about.

She said, "Iโ€™d forgotten what strong felt like.โ€

She didnโ€™t mean she could suddenly deadlift a car.

She meant she picked up the shopping bags without wincing. She walked upstairs without getting out of breath. She got out of the car without that little groan.

They sound like small things.

Theyโ€™re NOT.

When youโ€™ve spent years feeling like your body is working against you, the moment it starts working with you again is huge.
