People often think therapy is going to feel intimidating, intense, or uncomfortable all the time.
But most therapy sessions actually look a lot more human than people expect.
Sometimes it looks like sitting with a cup of tea trying to explain feelings you’ve never said out loud before.
Sometimes it looks like long pauses while you work out what you’re really feeling.
Sometimes it looks like finally understanding why you react the way you do.
Therapy isn’t about being judged. It’s not about having the perfect words. And it’s not about someone telling you how to live your life.
A good therapy space should feel collaborative, supportive, and safe enough for honesty.
You don’t have to wait until things become unbearable before reaching out for support.
