🍪☕ Back in the Kitchen at Bowes House! ☕🍪

We were back in the kitchen this week and this time, it was all about baking chocolate and white chocolate chip cookies! 🍫🤍

Our residents had a wonderful time reading the step-by-step instructions, mixing the ingredients, and filling the home with the sweet smell of freshly baked cookies. The best part, of course, was the taste test enjoyed with a lovely cup of tea! ☕✨

There were smiles, laughter, and plenty of crumbs as everyone tucked into their homemade treats. Moments like these are what make Bowes House feel so special. 💛

🎶💜 A Joyful Visit from Dementia Singing Experience, Sussex💜🎶

What a wonderful day we had here at Bowes House! Our residents were thrilled to welcome , who brought so much joy, laughter, and energy to our home. 💃🕺

Everyone joined in the fun dressing up, singing along, and making memories together. The smiles said it all! 😊✨

A huge thank you to for creating such a lively atmosphere and brightening everyone’s day. We can’t wait to have you back again soon! 💐

🧁✨ Sweet Treats and Smiles at Bowes House! ✨🧁

Our residents had a delightful afternoon decorating cupcakes and we think they looked (and tasted!) absolutely amazing! 😋💖

There was plenty of laughter, creativity, and of course a little taste-testing along the way. From colourful sprinkles to swirls of icing, everyone added their own personal touch to these sweet creations. 🎨🍰

It’s always lovely to see how much joy these simple, hands-on activities bring to our Bowes House family. 💕

🍂🎨 Autumn Creativity at Bowes House! 🎨🍂

Our lovely residents have been embracing the cosy autumn vibes with some therapeutic colouring of beautiful seasonal flowers. 🌻🍁

As they coloured, the room filled with wonderful stories about their own gardens from favourite blooms and childhood memories to tips on growing the perfect rose! 🌷🌼

It was a relaxing afternoon full of colour, conversation, and plenty of smiles. 💛

🌺 Help Us Create a War Memorial Masterpiece at Bowes House, Hailsham 🌺

This Remembrance season, we’re inviting our wonderful community to come together and help us create a beautiful war memorial display outside Bowes House.

We’d love for you to get creative and make a poppy masterpiece — whether it’s drawn, painted, knitted, or crocheted, every poppy will help us build a stunning tribute to those who served, and it will mean so much to our residents. ❤️

🖌️ How to Take Part:
• Create your poppy in any style you like
• Attach it to our railings outside Bowes House by Friday, 7th November
• Please include your name and phone number with your poppy

🏆 Competition Alert!
Our residents will be judging all the beautiful creations, and there will be a special prize for the best poppy! 🎁

📧 If you’re unable to visit Bowes House in person, don’t worry — simply email your name, phone number, and a photo of your poppy to Erin.Dulake@careuk.com, and we’ll proudly add it to our display for you.

🌸 Life at Bowes House 🌸

Our residents had a wonderful time in the kitchen this week, rolling up their sleeves to make and bake delicious blueberry muffins! 🫐🧁 The smell of fresh baking filled the home and brought lots of smiles (and eager taste-testers!).

Moments like these are not only fun but also spark happy memories, creativity, and plenty of laughter. 💙

🌸✨ Flower arranging at Bowes House has been in full swing, and our residents have been absolutely loving it! From choosing their favorite blooms to creating beautiful displays, it’s been wonderful to see so much creativity and joy shining through. 💐💖

It’s amazing how something as simple as flowers can brighten a room—and a day! 🌷🌼🌹

Jodie excelled in her Lead Adult Care Worker, level 3 qualification, passing with distinction and Rhianna passed her level 2, adult care worker qualification with a merit!
