A wonderful afternoon of singing and dancing was enjoyed by all at Bowes House when Steve visited to entertain us, always a joy!

We were lucky enough to have a visit from pet pals yesterday, residents always love seeing the animals and feeding the lambs and holding the chicks yesterday brought many smiles to residents faces. We always love seeing dogs in the home so this was a lovely added bonus too!

Residents enjoyed creating a delicious cake, from start to finish, including decorating it once cooled. Everyone enjoyed eating the cake too!

Residents took part in a morning of creative activity flower pressing. Some beautiful creations were produced and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the making process and were happy with their lovely pictures!

We had a fantastic morning today at Bowes House as we welcomed Roger the singer! 🎤🎶

He played so many of our favourite songs, and it was lovely to sit back, listen, and enjoy the music together. Some of us even couldn’t resist getting up for a little dance! 💃🕺

A wonderful morning filled with music, smiles, and great memories.

Easter has come a little early here at Bowes House! 🐣🌼

We’ve been getting creative this week and had lots of fun making our very own shredded wheat mini egg nests they looked amazing and tasted even better! 🍫✨

It’s been wonderful to see everyone getting involved, sharing ideas, and enjoying a bit of early Easter cheer together.

We can’t wait to continue the celebrations in the lead up to Easter! 💛

We’re excited to announce that Bowes House will be hosting our Summer Fate on Friday 10th July — and we’re now accepting bookings for public stalls!

We’d love to welcome a wide variety of stallholders, from handmade crafts and gifts to food, games, and more. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase what you do and be part of a fun, community-focused day.
