UPDATE: Due to the overwhelming response we have reached the limit on ticket requests and will be contacting those who have been allocated tickets in the next couple of days.
Free Drusillas Tickets for Autism Acceptance Week!
Our friends at Drusillas Park are taking part in the World Autism Acceptance campaign, led by BIAZA (the British & Irish Association of Zoos and Aquaria) of which they are proud members. To support the campaign this year, they are offering families of children with autism free tickets to visit Drusillas during the campaign week and have allocated 40 tickets to Amaze families.
We'll offer these on a first come, first served basis. Please email marie@amazesussex.org.uk, using the subject 'Drusillas' and provide:
One full name per group
Email address
No. of adults/children attending
Date of visit (choose between Monday 31st March, Tuesday 1st, Wednesday 2nd or
Friday 4th April).
Thing to note:
The campaign falls during term-time weekdays when the park is typically quieter, so a great time to avoid queues, crowds, and too much noise. In addition to free tickets, families will also be welcome to free ride Access Passes for the day (to avoid any ride queues) and free sunflower lanyards. They are also in the process of creating some walk-through videos, so visitors can familiarise themselves with our site before visiting. Full details of their commitment to accessibility can be found here: https://www.drusillas.co.uk/access-statement
The complimentary tickets will provide unlimited access to the zoo, animal walkthroughs, 7 family-friendly rides, 2 adventure play areas, indoor soft play, toddler rides, and much more...
The tickets offered are per-person, not per family, so please allow for this when allocating. Accompanying carers are always welcome free of charge (on presentation of eligible documentation) and so won’t require one of the allocated tickets.
