Ideally 6–8 weeks before you travel, so your vaccines have time to fully work and protect you.

Use an insect repellent containing DEET (ideally 50%+), especially in low to medium malaria-risk destinations. If you’re travelling to a higher-risk area, our clinicians can also advise on malaria tablets.
