Today at Shenstone Court Care Home, our residents enjoyed a fun and tasty activity for Taste the Popcorn Day!

Our fantastic Activities Team put on some wonderful entertainment, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. Residents also had the chance to indulge in a variety of delicious popcorn flavours, trying something a little different and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.

It was lovely to see everyone getting involved, enjoying the entertainment, and of course sampling the tasty treats. Safe to say our residents truly popped with excitement today! 🍿😊

💇‍♀️✨ Hairdresser Days at Shenstone Court ✨💇‍♂️

At Shenstone Court Care Home, we believe everyone deserves a little pampering! Our wonderful residents enjoyed their regular Hairdresser Days on Monday and Tuesday, where our lovely hairdresser Loretta came in to work her magic.

From fresh trims to beautiful blow-dries, Loretta made sure our residents were looking and feeling their very best. There’s nothing quite like a new hairstyle to put a smile on someone’s face and boost confidence!

Our residents always look forward to these special pamper sessions, and it’s a lovely time for them to relax, chat, and enjoy being looked after.

A big thank you to Loretta for taking such great care of everyone and helping our residents feel fabulous! 💕

Yesterday, Our Customer Relations Manager spent time out in the community visiting some of our wonderful local contacts and partners. It was a great opportunity to connect, catch up, and share flyers highlighting the exciting events and activities we have coming up at Shenstone Court Care Home over the next few months.
We love building strong relationships within our community and keeping everyone informed about the opportunities to visit, get involved, and spend time with our residents.

At Shenstone Court – A Country Court Care Home, we are proud to open our doors to members of the local elderly community for our heart warming Community Fish & Chip Fridays.

If you’re someone who often dines alone, we’d love to welcome you to enjoy a friendly and relaxed lunch alongside our residents. This special weekly gathering is all about companionship, conversation and sharing a traditional fish and chip meal in a warm, welcoming setting — because no one should have to eat alone.
Our Fish & Chip Fridays are thoughtfully designed for older adults who would enjoy meeting new people and enjoying meaningful social time over a delicious meal. With a cosy atmosphere and plenty of friendly faces, it’s a lovely way to brighten your week and feel part of a caring community.

Spaces are limited each week to keep the experience personal and relaxed, and we’re happy to support any dietary needs or allergies when booking.
Whether you come along to make new friends, enjoy good food, or simply spend time in welcoming company, you’ll always receive a warm Shenstone Court welcome.

Today at Shenstone Court, our residents enjoyed a lovely pamper session filled with nail painting, relaxation, and plenty of smiles! 💕

From choosing their favourite colours to enjoying a little hand care, it was a wonderful way to make everyone feel special and cared for.

Our residents truly enjoyed the experience, and it was so lovely to see the smiles, laughter, and beautiful freshly painted nails all around. Sometimes it’s the little moments of self-care that bring the biggest joy. ✨

✈️💜 SKYDIVING FOR A CAUSE 💜✈️

We are so proud to share that two of our amazing team members at Shenstone Court are taking on an incredible challenge… a charity skydive! 🪂

On Saturday 23rd May, Chloe (Carer) and Steve (Maintenance) will be bravely jumping from the skies to raise money for the wonderful Alzheimer's Society 💙

This cause means so much to us as a care home, supporting those living with dementia and the families who love them. Every donation helps make a difference.

🌟 Fish and Chip Fridays! 🌟

If you’re are an older adult and are looking for a friendly place to enjoy a classic fish and chip meal, join us on Fridays!

Our lunch is a wonderful opportunity for our community members, especially those who may often find themselves dining alone.

We believe that no one should have to eat alone, and our warm and relaxed atmosphere is the perfect setting to share a meal and connect with others.

Today at Shenstone Court Care Home, our Love & Kindness Coffee Afternoon was truly a heart-warming success! 💕☕

Residents and visitors were treated to a wonderful selection of delicious homemade cakes lovingly prepared by our talented chefs – and they certainly went down a treat! 🍰✨

We were also delighted to enjoy fantastic live entertainment from Pauline, who filled the room with music, smiles, and plenty of singing along. 🎶💃

Our residents had great fun taking part in a quiz, with lots of friendly competition and brilliant answers all round! 🧠👏 It was lovely to see everyone so engaged and enjoying themselves.

To spread a little extra love and appreciation, we also went around the home handing out special appreciation bags to both our residents and visitors – a small gesture to say thank you for being part of our wonderful Shenstone Court family. 💝

A beautiful afternoon celebrating love, kindness, and togetherness – just what community is all about🥰

Yesterday afternoon was filled with fun, laughter, and a little friendly competition as some of our residents enjoyed a game of Scrabble! 🧩✨

Tony, David, and Geoffrey all had a fantastic time putting their word skills to the test.

A big congratulations to our Scrabble champion Geoffrey, with Tony taking the runner-up spot and Bryan proudly coming in third place! 🏆👏

It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged and enjoying themselves. Activities like this bring out smiles, spark great conversations, and keep minds active. Our residents truly loved it and are already looking forward to the next game! 💙
