National Breast screening program

Breast screening is offered to women aged 50 to 70 to detect early signs of breast cancer. Women over 70 can self refer.

Results are sent to our team following engagement with the breast screening appointment.

You may have been identified as overdue for your cancer screening if it has been more than three years since your last screening test.

Please contact our team if you believe you have your breast screening within 3 years so that we can confirm this with the local breast screening team.

National Bowel cancer screening

Everyone aged 50 to 74 is offered a bowel cancer screening home test kit every 2 years.

If you're 75 or over, you can ask for a kit every 2 years by phoning the free bowel cancer screening helpline on 08007076060.

Our team gets notification when patients haven’t responded or returned their stool test kits and therefore highlighted to us as missing their cancer screening. You may be able to request further test kits on 08007076060

Update regarding Primary Care Prescribing:

From 23 June 2025, access to the medication tirzepatide (Mounjaro®) is beginning in England for a small number of patients living with obesity who are at the highest risk of serious health conditions.

In the Black Country, new community-based weight management services are currently being developed to support safe and effective access to this treatment, this means GPs are not yet able to prescribe tirzepatide (Mounjaro®) for weight management in this area.

Dear all,

We regret to inform you that our clinical system, EMIS, is currently down. This unexpected outage affects our ability to manage appointments, access medical records, and process prescriptions.

Appointments: We cannot book, reschedule, or access appointment details at the moment. If you already have an appointment, please still attend your appointment. If you were booked for a telephone consultation, please could you attend instead as are not able to see who has been booked in on our clinics.

Medical Records: Access to medical records and test results is temporarily unavailable.

Prescriptions: Processing of repeat routine prescriptions will be delayed.
If you have urgent requests, call 01215592044. You will be required to use the right hand side of the prescription or medication boxes with named labels as proof
